Heads up town, this will be 3 of the scum in the next game I mod
Can't wait.

Heads up town, this will be 3 of the scum in the next game I mod
Question for everyone:
So if you had my role and were a dr (pharm) irl and played a game where jpap picked all PRs based on criteria like that that you wouldn't risk putting that theory out there to try and get the don and the snitch? I know I messed up but in hindsight, with none of the scum posting on day 1, I wasn't missing anything scummy. So when I said I hadn't seen anything scummy I was telling the truth. After this experience I will keep quiet and try to say roles were random, but at the time it seemed like I had to try to lynch the don if I could. Hindsight is 20/20...
Yeah, I think doing that I wanted to get a reaction...I should have known I couldn't get one out of Dawg. It's tough being inside my head...
Always read the boards... that's the best way to learn how to play the game well. You learn more from those than anywhere else.
If the theory doesn't compromise your role (especially if you're a PR)... AND it doesn't damage someone else who may be innocent since they could be a PR, then you should throw it out for there for discussion. Otherwise, keep it as a possibility in mind and evaluate whether it's real or bogus based on something else that's factual as we gain more evidence.
Sorry. You're never going to take someone like Dawg down on "just a theory" no matter how good it is.
Even if this had been a convincing one, which it wasn't, Dawg is a great player who knows better than to overreact to something like that. All he'd have to do is laugh at it (or you), and the town would too.
Also, say your theory had been right... Why forewarn him that you're going to come after him with it before you have any evidence to support it?
That would give him advance warning which allows him to defend or deflect against your case before you get a chance to make it. A teammate of his could also come after you from some other direction before you've got a real case against your top suspect.
Even a theory you've confirmed as accurate based on other facts would already be discredited by that time and you'll never get the rest of the town to believe it was true. The supporting facts you found would get spun some other way.
Thanks for all the suggestions so I don't pull another stupid move like that guys!
Kash, this is perfect, thank you so much! This is everything I totally missed when contemplating my theory. I will not be making such a huge blunder again. :thm:
Thats why I think it's silly for ppl to even ask the mod...as I have said many times, sometimes they actually are not truthful during the game anyway. It really gets us no where.I would have asked JPap if roles were selected randomly before I put that theory out there. I thought it was funny that the rumor of hand picked teams was started without waiting to see what the mod had to say. It was even more funny that many people didn't believe JPap when he said the teams were random.
Glad to see you've learned a thing or 2 from me
LMAO...poor Ice :y220d:I took it that Ice was thinking like you.![]()
:laugh::laugh::lol:I know, but with over 600 posts, it would take so long i'd forget what it started with... I'll stick with reading shorter ones. Sheesh, now i know what playing with me must feel like...
