Mafia #77 Game thread- Back to the basics

after being gone all day I expected to come back and be buried in posts - I'm surprised by the lack of posts

Here is what I garnered from the snitch, remember that the snitch wins when the mafia wins, so he/she will be anti-town with their list.

These 2 have quarelled for the majority of the game, but have contributed a decent amount to the town when they aren't bickering. If both are scum then this would be a great smoke screen, but they are both drawing attention to themselves by not always being pro-town. I doubt that both are mafia, and I could see one as mafia. Its less likely IMO, but both could be innocent and are getting OMGUS with their votes and posts.

DD is always a low poster, which can allow her to fly under the radar. I wanted to pull this quote from LG because her posting towards both DD and myself I have found odd.





Why did you comment on her post count this game LG, when you are a vet who knows that DD never posts a lot. I like how once she replys you kiss up and make nice. Why would you call someone out, and then apoligize for it?




I had thought that he was scum much earlier on D2, and i never had time to come home and change my vote. Plus my laptop has been screwy the last couple of days.



My laptop has been funky for a few days now, and I didn't get a chance to switch my vote. I'm going to make a better effort to be around for this nightfall.

It worrys me to see how many people jumped on and off the blackmail theory. I wasn't blackmailed, as you've hopefully read a thousand times by now my laptop blows.

Well, i would like to see more out of S4S. I'm out to the yard, so I won't back back until later.

I'm really scared by that DD thing, and you have been jumping onto ideas this whole game. Expect my vote to change, but I want to make sure I don't UD in the case that this crap computer gets worse.

Why would my posting about you and Doll seem odd to you?

Yep, I'm a vet who has played many games with Doll, and yep she is a low poster..although she does tend to post less as a evil..it is a great way to not say anything to use against you.

Did I apologize to her...cause if I did I sure didn't mean too, I asked about her...she answered, I acknowledged her answer how is that kissing up and apologizing?

What ideas have I "jumped" on?

While I do agree with Chill that it is difficult to find anything reading through the posts, as far as the list is concerned, I was thinking.

It was mentioned about how one time the list named all the mafia and it was pointed out how that failed miserably.

Things have been going their way pretty much so I really wouldn't put it past them to name two of their own on that list.

Think about it, we get lucky and lynch someone on that list and they flip scum. Are we more or less likely to scrutinize the rest of the players named?

just my 2 cents worth for food for thought.

Actually Wizard, I think they said it "almost worked", I know I was in that game, but really it was so long ago I have no idea what happened. I remember it happened but that is about it.

guys I've seent his everywhere, and what does g/o mean?

g/o.....g/o means "game off"...."game on". Usually just means you are going to say something that really doesn't pertain to the game itself.

the calling out to people viewing is getting tedious and often appears as if the person calling out is simply trying to distract. Some people simply remain signed in even when they're not there anymore, some people are invisible and can view with impunity, for the most part who's viewing is not real useful information. Now if you see someone coming and going without posting or showing up but later claiming they weren't around that might be something to watch. But overall who's viewing doesn't tell us much.

Un, this is helpful how? You draw attention to yourself...then when someone says something about it you go at them, or if no one says anything you post something about it is "scummy" that no one noticed..I'm really not getting you this round (not that I get you any game LOL).

I do agree also that we need to discuss players. It has been very hard to get any kind of read on anyone this game, because of the way everything has gone but...

UN..definitely has been very off and un- UN like. The way he has called people out for not noticing he didn't post much, then when someone does post about him he tries to make something out of it, his big concern about the "list" and the blackmail, him calling anyone out "viewing" the thread..even ones who are not playing...it all stands out big time.

JM/JB-not sure what I think exactly with these two, I do believe one is most likely mafia although they could be team mates and distancing.

Doll- Her posting as much as she did, then pretty much disappearing seems pretty odd to me.

Salt- He came in the game gunning like crazy, then just pretty much quit posting...now I realize this is his first game but it is kinda like he was told to quiet down.

These would have to be the ones that stand out to me the most at this point.

Okay yesterday for reasons you either would not or could not articulate you were anxious for the list. I thought it might be because you wanted to get Zaff's name on there? Today you say the list is anti-town? Is this because you had to list scum other than Zaf?

UN you've looked bad to me all game. Yesterday I offered you a way to change my mind and while you've quoted other posts by me you've ignored that one. You said Chill and Zaf were after you from the beginning. If you can show me where Zaf, a known scum, was after you I would likely be convinced of your innocence.

While I agree that she has never been an "avid" poster. She generally posts more than she has this game.

I was just looking at the night fall you posted of how the votes fell.

The first few went to Zaffy, Zaffy was the first vote on PIR The next vote cast after Zaffy's was Wiz's, also on Pir. The next vote cast was Mav actually moving from Zaffy to Pir. The next two votes were Raz, and you both on Zaffy, then Wiz moved to Zaffy.

Somewhere in there was the talk of who the Vig should hit and Kash calling out Wiz and some others. That may have also played in the timing of Wiz's vote move to Zaffy.

Still doesn't explain why Mav would have moved his vote to PIR. You had two days to decide Mav, That was really bad timing.

Ok, I can see where you are coming from..but I really don't think with Zaff being "known" at that point, his team mates would of voted with him. Of course I could be wrong and really don't understand why anyone mafia or innocent would of voted with him.

His laptop must of went down again, usually when he is asked direct questions while he is here that seems to happen.
