Mafia #77 Game thread- Back to the basics

While I do agree with Chill that it is difficult to find anything reading through the posts, as far as the list is concerned, I was thinking.

It was mentioned about how one time the list named all the mafia and it was pointed out how that failed miserably.

Things have been going their way pretty much so I really wouldn't put it past them to name two of their own on that list.

Think about it, we get lucky and lynch someone on that list and they flip scum. Are we more or less likely to scrutinize the rest of the players named?

just my 2 cents worth for food for thought.

The only thing we really know about the list is that it was crafted by the scum and therefore it is likely to be about as helpful as a toothache.

As I started to type this something about Bally's post came to mind. She mentioned Ice's post about 2 lettered names, maybe the scum grabbed on to that idea. Flashing back to Sesame Street's one of these things is not like the other was Dawg meant to stand out on this list? Did Bally want to bring that theory back to our attention? He fits both Labby's as well as Ice's theories and makes a nice target. Then again he could be scum and hiding in plain sight.

While I agree that she has never been an "avid" poster. She generally posts more than she has this game.

I agree Wiz. The original reason posted had to do with a sudden flurry followed by a complete withdrawal and questioning that I had no problem with. My comment here was more wondering why Bally would attempt to characterize her as avid?

well I still find UN's flip flop of confidence and cockiness then lack there of as odd.
I also find it odd that no one has pointed out Salt's silence, he has also gone from confident and observant ( taking notes and such ) to quite and unsure.
DD is usually a much avid poster, and I find it odd that she was so quick to answer the question posed to her silence. She can find time to vote and view, but not time to post a quick bit here or there.

I agree UN has been acting strangely throughout the game with the change in play style and the strange voting record.

I find it odd that you think no one has pointed out Salt's lack of posting. It has been called out by several of us already.

DD is tough to read and from my experience her quantity of posts has no bearing on her affiliation. She has even UD'd a few times in the recent past. This by no means clears DD from the scum list but it is also not a-typical of her play style as of late.

If I had to throw a vote out right now it would be somewhere between UN and Salt. I'd probably go with Salt right now though for the lack of effort to help the town root out scum. If Salt ends up not voting and seems like a possible UD my vote probably won't stay there. I also find the JM / JB thing somewhat interesting but IMO it is tough to make a choice between the two. They have both been helpful at times and they have both seemed a bit scummy as well. JB's more recent comments about people doing their own work seems very unhelpful at this point in the game. If JM happens to go home tonight who else is on your list JB?

I need to look into a few more people prior to nightfall and get my thoughts out there but haven't made my way through a full reread of this thread yet.

I didn't even think of that until she said something, but when I read it of course I wondered. Personally, I think we should take the list with a grain of salt, there are so many possibilities to it. When I try to think about it, it makes me go in circles. I could for sure see them adding more then one of their own on it, just in case we did end up getting one...we wouldn't think their would be another on it.

The fact UN was left off, also concerns me a bit. With as much as he has posted that makes him look scummy...I know if I were mafia, he would most likely be on that list if he was innocent.

oh bull****. now your just getting OMGUSy. I don't want this to turn into two people bickering the whole time and being anti-town like the JM-JB cage fight has been, so I retract my previous vote, and vote to lynch S4S.

S4S has been acting scummy all game, and the fact that he has dissappeared makes me wonder if someone is coaching him to repeat what PP did last game. (fly under the radar after almost being lynched by not posting at all, except for voting)

If I was scum I'd put him on there if he was scum too, they had to put at least one scum on there. Better to give up the one looking likely for the lynch and protect the rest of the team. In fact the only way Un wouldn't make a snitch list I was writing would be if he was Don.
