Mafia #77 Game thread- Back to the basics

Salt- He came in the game gunning like crazy, then just pretty much quit posting...now I realize this is his first game but it is kinda like he was told to quiet down.

These would have to be the ones that stand out to me the most at this point.

Sorry about the lack of posting guys, I can assure you, this is not due to "coaching" or the fact that i no longer like playing, If my g/f could be on here, she would be yelling at all of you because its all i read anymore. lol. I was on vacation tues- thurs and i just now got home from work. I work and then work some more. Then i come home and take care of the tank, then im on here. lol. I came in this game, not realizing that a townie doesnt threaten hits, it is called a mafia game after all. I took some notes, was really active, and then realized i was literally doing nothing when i came home except read and post. So i had to chill out and give the g/f some attention before i had to sleep on the couch. Soooo, yeahh. Thats my explanation. I have some reading to do, and ill try to post before i fall asleep.

Quick question Dawg. I admit I went after Salt D1 for his posts, and that is where my vote stayed.

Do you think if he were scum that his team would let him draw attention to himself by this drastic of a change in play?

I would think they would have told him to post something by now.

Good point. But they may have also told him to shut up and he took it a bit too literally. The problem is we don't really know.

I read a lot of crap posted about people being "helpful" to the town. I stated long before the game started that my time would be very limited this game, and in retrospect I should have followed my better judgment and not signed up. That being what it is, I have taken the time I've had to put my thoughts out there. If you don't like my thoughts... tough. Deal with it or cast a vote.

If you think I'm not being helpful, I have thought a couple times about PMing the mod to be taken out of the game. Then I thought, at least if I'm still in, the townies have one more warm body for the mafia to overcome. I feel as though I've done my part by STAYING IN THE GAME. If every word out of my mouth isn't of the grandest level of insight... tough. Deal with it or cast a vote.

I have spent many hours over many games trying to figure out who was what, coming up with theories, etc, etc, etc. This time it's different. I don't have that kind of time to dedicate to the game, and I'm not going to take time away from friends and family that I haven't seen in **** near 10 years to "help the town". IMO, I have built up some credit for being "helpful to the town", now it's time for some others to do some work. I'm fine with that. If this seems "anti-town" to you, it's probably because I'm feeling pretty god-damned anti-town right now.

I've put my thoughts out there such as they are at the moment. I'm not going to take any more time tonight to go back and rehash all the crap flying around. I'll be back after nightfall to check in. My vote will not be changing.

If any of this offends you or strikes you as scummy... please, place a vote on me. It would do me a world of good to get out of this game and be able to stop thinking about it.

I hear you JB. I have felt that way a few times in these games. The problem is the only way we can get a good read on people is by them talking. I can totally understand your frustration but you also have to understand when people suspect you based on a change in playing style. Your post sounds sincere and I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt right now that it is the truth. I just hope this isn't another way to snow the town because I'll never forgive you . Enjoy the time with friends and family and don't ever let this game come in the way of that.

I still suspect Salt it just seems convenient that Wiz comes out and tries to make an excuse for it and then Salt actually decides maybe he should post. Yet again his post has no real substance though. For now I vote to lynch Salt.

let's start talking. What does anyone think of my thought that maybe there are 2 scum on the list?

My comments on the list are, the only person I expected to be there (UN) isn't. Of course it seems clear now that they decided to go with a list of more experienced players than rookies.

As far as 2 scum? Could be...I think we should lynch the best candidate, and not really dwell on the list.

Should we decide to lynch Salt, or UN and they come up innocent, I don't see where we learn much. Not that I think either is a bad choice, just not our best.
As far as JM, or JB, should our choice come up innocent I believe we would have a solid target in the other.
It should also come as no surprise that JB is my choice for the lynch tonight. In my mind I can make the strongest case for him being Scum.

I have plans for this afternoon, but will be home in plenty of time to catch up and place my vote should more folks find time to participate.

I can see what you are saying here...but IMO, UN has acted the scummiest and that is where I think my vote will stay. I don't like voting someone that isn't my highest suspect.
