Mafia 78- The Gunslinger Returns...The Play

Knowing Wiz had limited time and not knowing when he would be able to show I decided to take the initiative and ask questions. I do think it would be better for him to ask his own and get his own answers from them but we only have 48 hrs before he needs to shoot. If he wasn't able to get to the site till tomorrow morning thats 12 wasted hours.

I definitely get that, Ice... just felt the question needed to be asked.

I know that it is too early to be this easy, but I would like to know what the town thinks of the above responses and departure.

I didn't think much of the 1st 2 posts until he all of a sudden took off. Usually he'd say why he had to be up at 5 and what not but no reason was given this time. Could be he really did need to go or he was afraid he slipped. To early to make any real judgement on the action but definitely a watchable offense.

Here's what I was thinking before I got to LG's posts...
Ice asks his questions. I have to say that the use of the word "we" bothers me some.

Rich answers in a way that seems in kind with the way the questions were asked.

Ice jumps on Rich for using the word pronoun "I". I don't see how this implicates Rich, yet Ice seems to jump all over it...

I didn't jump all over it, I did the same thing to him I did to FF. Why didn't it bother you I made an accusation to FF?

There's always a reason to make an accusation toward FF. Why would that bother me? The accusation toward Rich seems to be out of left field the way I read it.

Personally, I'd have to say if given the choice he would be on my list of firsts regardless of last game.

I have no idea how we go about this, would it be better to list who we would pick, would it be best to say what we think others would do?

I actually think most all of us would choose a top player as 1st slinger for the reasons already said. I think Wiz was chosen for his announced lack of time.

I wouldn't choose a a player that makes themselves look scummy. I also wouldn't choose players that are hard to read for the slinger because I'd want the slinger to have to wonder about them.
I might choose a new player as slinger just because its almost a 100% chance they would miss just because they don't yet know what they are looking for.

I think we should focus on making a list of a few people who we think could be mafia and then go from there.

It wasn't so much that he said I, it was that he said I would....

If the question was who do you think then..... I would..... would have been ok to use but since I said who do we think.... players should have said, I think they would.....

I know it sounds confusing but I can't explain it any better.

I would hope that as many games as you guys had played that if innocent you'd know it could be a trap and see what becomes of it and only blow it up if evil but I guess we won't know which it is till later in the game.

I agree up to the new player part. I don't think they would pick a new player because odds of a miss are close to 100% anyway and they would want a good player to take themself out with a miss. Eliminating a new player is less benefical to the scum then eliminating a vet.

Well at this point that list would include everyone except Wiz.

No read on Rich yet but he is extremely difficult to read anyway.
