Mafia 78- The Gunslinger Returns...The Play

So lets play that game Chill except no dice, with lists instead.

You're top poster at 73 at the moment.

Lets cut that in half and the players in the gun sight are

rich311k 36 Kashta 30 Fishfriend1 27 Dagamoth 20 Piranha86 16 Lab_Rat 12 Haydn24 10 Salt4Sam 1

So everyone name 3 players off this list that should be shot, besides Labby, we can shoot her after the game.

Wow FF only 27 posts? That is usually 1 hr of posting for you.

Rich Kash and FF are all on my list and bottom dwellers, Salt and Pir will probably UD. I'd probably keep Dag off the list unless you have a feeling on him. Haydan why not, he hasn't had any content posts and is just as likely to be scum as any of the others.

For Ice any reason you would leave Dag off?

For those of you who haven't done so all ready clould you please name three players off this list. If you want to point out something/someone else as well that would be appreciated but for the sake of answering this question could you please name three form the list.

Kash, ok lets say it was a honest mistake...from your spread sheet of that game....what about your spread sheet and re-reading of THIS game, how did you miss the conversation about the fact Pir, Labby and Tay were WW that game? You go back and re read everything, pull pretty much every post made, but you didn't notice what was actually posted THIS game...instead you go back to a past game that has no relevance to this one in any way and post something that is incorrect.

Nope, I don't have spreadsheets, nope I don't keep track of every single game played...but yes, I do go back and re read the game I am in...past games really have no baring on the one you are playing at this point.

Because I know I'm innocent and if he really wanted to cement his innocence he could have given up a mafia player and had him shot.
I don't get it, why? Why would he put one of his own up, when he could hide behind your "innocence"? The only way to prove if he is indeed innocent is if he was shot, or if whoever does get the investigation, uses it on him. Really, I don't have Pap up there on my list...but I can't say that I haven't thought about it quite a bit.

This has been a hectic day and I'm not going to pull all the posts blasting me for misquoting an old game. You know who you are and I expect, so does Chill.

For the very last time...

I looked through old spreadsheets to remind myself if Chill had ever been evil when Wizard was innocent. I did that because there've been to many games for me to go just by memory. They blur together. And I needed to check that point before accusing him of anything. Those spreadsheets don't get updated after I've been killed off because I stop keeping track when I'm no longer playing. It's a tool I use while the game is in progress to focus my thoughts after the thread becomes long and unmanageable... nothing more. It's not a complete recap of each game and I never need to refer back to them later. What it shows are lists... a bunch of names, suspect lists, invests, deaths, vote history, and other stats that I save in numerical order by game number. They don't remind me about game themes, roles, characterizations, etc... because that isn't their purpose.

I'd found one game out of a dozen or so (not updated after the game ended) that still showed Chill in red and Wizard in blue. Okay, so I thought ... it would be incorrect to make a statement saying: Wizard as a townie never had a chance to see Chill's game when evil.

Did I stop to wonder which game theme or title correlated to # 73 right then? No, that wasn't what I was looking for. I didn't care which game it was at the time... just (as I thought) that there was one. Checking back as much as I did was already an interruption to what I was doing and what I was thinking about. I was in the middle of writing the next post I intended to make (suspecting Chill) when I knew I should stop briefly to glance through old game lists first so I wouldn't end up accusing him unfairly.

What I'd like to have explained to me know... by everyone who jumped on my name as Chill's next shot for making that mistake... is this:

WTF difference did it make that I forgot one of the spreadsheets I glanced at was not updated with actual roles after I died?

How did that little mistake suddenly make me scum?

How many other townies in this game have even bothered to re-read the stupid thread a second time?

How many of you go back to pull quotes from players before naming them as the next one to get shot?

How many even checked back to re-read the thoughts Wizard posted in this game before he took his shot?

You're all so quick to blame me for the target Wizard selected that you didn't even notice he made an earlier post yesterday morning calling Chill out for being noncommital and just conversational. He made that post before he left that day. When he came back to check the thread many hours later to find very few useful posts.... the town still wouldn't help him.

I never like it when people seem to get so bent out of shape when they are on the hot seat. What does it matter how many of us play like you? Are you saying don't shoot you because you're better at this than the rest of us because that's what it comes off like. I mentioned before that if you really read the thread as closely as you claim, even reading it twice, you would see that it had already been discussed who was evil that game. You're a smart woman so it's hard for me to believe that you didn't know that was the same game you were going to refer to. Especially since the reason it was ever brought up was because we hit Wiz first.

I guess if you're going to try to use past games as some sort of evidence you should either update your spreadsheets at the end of the game or just search for the old game thread before you post. I don't really know what else to tell you. If it was someone else that made that mistake then I think you'd be all over them as well.

Stretching his weary frame he wonders what it be like to sleep in a nice goose down bed instaed of on the hard ground. He checks the fire under the still and smiles appreciatively as he see G's reflection in the shiny metal. Turning to meet her eyes he smiles and says Morning G. His pulse quickens as she says morning back but he can't help but wonder if can he trust her. Holding her gaze he searches her eyes for any hint of her intentions.
