Well I guess we can now see what happens when everybody stays silent.

Nightfall sucked. there is no other way to describe it.The only good that we can be sure of is the dr protected the right person..

The next question is, is UN being honest? If so he made the scum's job easier, or is he scum hoping to draw the dr's protection away from hits.

Either way, I hope the dr continues to use their own judgement in the protections. The Dr seems to be doing an awesome job so far. :clap:

I saw the post where it was dealt with, but I felt the need to ask again. (I had already hit the quote marks and didn't feel like deleting those posts when typing mine)
 
I do see why UN could have lied but the way it all came about makes me think he was telling the truth. It wasn't just a straight up RC...we squeezed the info out of him and I don't think he is savvy enough in terms of strategy to pull it off. No offense, but I find it less likely. Also, I find it more likely that the doctor protected UN and the scum tried to hit him rather than the scum picking another person and the doctor picking THAT player instead.

I still think he should have kept quiet BUT the doctor has certainly made up for out mistakes. MVP of the innocent team so far.

I agree with you on this point.

The problem is, the Dr. can protect the same player only twice in the game. How much damage will we see as a result of his posts.
 
Good point, I had forgotten about that stipulation. Since the scum need to get rid of the GH's though I think the choice is obvious. Rather than try to out guess the scum go with who is 90% a townie PR. It sucks that it comes to this but at this point the Dr is our best shot at damage control for the time being. Then again they've had better judgement so far than anyone else so no faults for going another direction.

Anyways, I'd really like for Bally to try to explain her thought process best she can without revealing whatever info she has that apparently could hurt the town. I don't understand what you were getting at and since you were the kill vote on JB I think you have some explaining to do. Sorry doesn't necessarily cut it...
 
Tonight's night fall is the result of what I have been saying all along. THIS FORMAT IS TOO DANGEROUS FOR THE INNOCENTS TO BE QUIET IN.

I posted myself, even though JB had been on me since game start that I thought him innocent.

However, if I read today's posts correctly, the results of the vote count came about by UN's posts.

If everyone was posting instead of waiting until just before night fall, if the posting were like it was when I started playing these games, night fall might have had a different result.

It isn't the question, it is the reaction or the response to the question if you know what I mean.

Mafia wars is considered a gentleman's game. Think about it, in the men's clubs the gentlemen sit around and openly talk to each other, while behind the scenes they are doing just the opposite.

Openly talk, I know that the vets in this game know what I am talking about. Somewhere along the line, people got the idea that they should stay silent only posting to answer questions.

IMHO, that is only going to hurt the town.

Wizard...... does the actual post make better sense to you with the typo corrected? Or not?

Yes a typo is confusing when it first happens (case in point) but it's also easily examined in terms of context as well.... after the fact.

If you truly feel it's beneficial to belabor the point now (by saying a typo and contradicting oneself is the same thing, when it isn't) then I'd like to know why.

I believe I was quite clear about the reason for my vote the whole time, despite the typo Pappy questioned.
 
I would like to hear from all 3 voters why they picked JB. I know they gave reasons when they voted but a more detail explanation now could very help weed out who is who.

I think UN is being honest but a little talk should help collaborate that.

It is possible none of them are scum but that seems unlikely to me.
