I know you didn't trust me. I messed up and left out tree on my lists twice in a row. (I feel like you were on the fence about me, and I screwed up like that)

Yeah, I kept wanting to trust you, but you weren't digging enough for me to feel good about trusting you. Then leaving Tree off twice, I was like wtf. And since I was so sure Scoop was scum, your comment about "if" he flips innocent struck me as really odd.
