I would like to know how banter can be useful in finding scum. I would also like to know if this means low-poster = scum, so high-poster = innocent.

We can't find scum if no one talks, we can't tell if you are scum if you don't talk. this is a boring game if no one talks. See where I'm going. That's true. I just thought it was funny when I read old games where everyone voted for the third person to vote for someone the next day.
