No, I don't see it as a proclamation of innocence at all. I simply see it as fun role playing in spirit with the theme of the game. A RC from Chup at that point in the game makes absolutely zero sense whatsoever. There was no pressure, no one kicking bushes around them, nothing that would prompt a RC. The fact that HH is making it out to be a RC is much, much sketchier imo. I am not sure why you're seeing it as a proclamation of innocence. Why would Chup do something like that at that point in time (not on the chopping block, early on day 1)?

I don't know why anyone does half the things they do. Yes, it was a RP...and I miss the RPing that use to be in the game, but in that was also a "hey I'm innocent" IMO

So when someone does that, do you automatically point fingers saying "omg RC!!!"? Or do you just take it as part of the normal day 1 banter? I know I take it as day 1 banter and don't give it a second thought.

You know what I do believe that is something to be questioned and IMO points to nothing but confusion to the town, not sure a vote is suited at this point though so at this time I retract my vote on Chupa.

I can't help but feel they were doing one of two things, either trying to draw votes away from Scoop or trying to "set up" the third person to vote them b/c they know Scoop's identity.

i wouldn't in any way say it's been "clearly shown" not to be a claim of innocence, I know what it was as I was the one who said it came from the rules not a PM! I still see it as trying to say your innocent.
