Interesting, the PM or a quote from the thread. Since the wording is exactly what Mad put in the start of the thread, I think it is obvious what it was. Makes me wonder if people think that some one is going to be dumb enough to say what their own PM said. The debate on this is getting close to pointless now.

I think a list at this point just lets scum read them and see if any one is on to them or not. Not enough has happened to form a good opinion on anyone yet or at least I have not been able to.

I need to think on this some more. There have been some interesting exchanges but not sure what they may or may not reveal.

scoop had an omgus vote on star
4 others had single votes but im not sure the scum team would sit back and let there own die, the late movers to nem were IQ,BH (not BG as I posted earlier) and Gun. Gun tied Nem with scoop at the time at 3.
only thing i am sure of is that anyone on HH is innocent

Ok, you have answered this several times, but I would just like to note that no one on HH is cleared in my book. In the past I have voted my own teammates in order to make myself look better, I don't doubt for a moment that people would do that same now. And considering that HH had 8 votes, well, that's a lot of votes, my bet is at least 1 of them was an evil.

On the original post I made trying to vote would have put HH ahead by 2 votes. I think this was an important vote with the tie rule in this game. I know this was not the vote that counted but I still tryed. I dont know how I was jumping on a bandwagon and then you bring it up again 2 post later. I am wondering your thinking behind your theory?

Idk at first I thought you were trying to portecte one of your own but thinking about it a little I am not sure. It does not seem to be a good movie at that point when it looked like he had no chance of not being lynched.

Funny how your "coin" kept you off a mafia member. Good place/reason to hide IMO. Don't want to vote a team member who is up for the lynch so you play the "I can't decide and flipped a coin" and it conviently doesn't land on your teammate.

I find the wording "if innocent" interesting, wouldn't it make more sense to say "if scum" on the grounds that is what the town is searching for? But you choose to say if he turns up innocent, I can't seem to find the words to exactly articulate why this is noteworthy, but that just doesn't sit right with me

to clarify, it is still possible that chup is scum. they were on HH before the slip, still possible distancing.

but I think we can narrow our search down to chup,Driver, Gun, BH, IQ, mael, 3toes, rickets, uhoh, cnote, scoop

almost half which is better odds then we had before because 4 of those 11 are scum.

You can play those odds all day long, but people always vote for their teammates, always. Yeah the singleton votes didn't help the town a whole lot, and guess what my vote was one of them. I felt strongly about my candidate and I still do although maybe not as much as others after that night 1 result. I didn't see the case on either of the forerunners last night, and I sure wasn't going to put my vote out there on a flight of fancy.

First I think it would of been a pretty stupid move to align myself with a team mate this early in the game.
Second, can you show me where I played any part in the "PM" part of it?

I've seen people align themselves and distance themselves as early as Day 1, again, playing the hypotheticals is a waste of time in Mafia, people do great things sometimes, they also make dumb moves such as defending a teammate on day 1.

TBH, those with single votes obviously stand out. Can't say anything has happened to change my thoughts on Ricket or Nem at this point.

I thought this post was great. Here Rick a) says the 3rd vote thing was just a joke... then later on he brings it up again. Offering to be the 3rd vote. It seems like he's just trying to get the conversation started without taking any credit for it. And b) he retracts his vote on O3T, apparently being satisfied by the fruits his mighty plan had wrought. Tell me Rick, what do you feel you learned through that exchange?

If you say so. Not EVERY PM is sent with the exact same wording to each person all the time anyway, so yes your theory is flawed. I said a couple different times I didn't think it was a PM, that is was copied from the rules. I'm not one to "role claim" so my coming out and saying "That isn't what my PM said" would of been pretty dumb.

While I can see where some are saying Hi IQ looks like he was discussing PMs, I'd like to remind everyone PMs are NEVER to be used as evidence in a game of Mafia. It's a cheap way to play, not sure if this is explicitly in Mad's rules but it's common sense. Which is not that common around here sometimes...

Madcrawdad is very thorough and consistent. My PM contained exactly the same wording as in Post 1 of this thread (In the section where he outlines what the PMs will contain) down to the punctuation. I think everyone who got the same role, got exactly the same PM (except for the alias of course).

Once again, stop discussing PMs, you are as likely to out a PR as a Mafia. Ever think of that?

I have to agree, you can't clear someone just because they were on HH. To answer about the posts questioning those of us that had single votes, by the time I could get back here after placing my vote, it was already a toasted shark.

I had stated the reason for my vote when I placed it then what I saw after night doesn't do much to clear DDay IMHO.

Rick accused me of trying to make him look bad by leaving out his meaningful posts when I interacted with him earlier, this is the last place you want to be when the boss comes around on company time so no I didn't go through all 7 pages of the thread. Instead I posted a sampling of his posts that were close to where we were at the time.

He also didn't offer any of his "meaningful" posts in response. It does appear as though C-note went through his posts and came up empty with the exception of the cheshire cat post. I will look more thouroughly tomorrow.

We have what I would call skirmishes between different players here and there. As I stated earlier, there are a few things that bear watching.

As was pointed out, I think it was scoop that mentioned the "third vote" thing earlier but he didn't mention the third vote on nem. I don't know if his response was true or not. I do know it seemed rather "off-handed" like it was no big deal.

Kind of like "Eh, I didn't notice. Next subject."

To offer up a short list I would say DDay and Rick got my attention more than the others.

Sorry for the long post it has been a long day and I am fighting a bug so need to get some rest.

I'm sorry but I am not going to pull my own posts, if you want to analyze me I invite you to do so. Heck, do it two or three times like C-Note to be thorough.

Ok I'm done defending myself, time to find scum. Right now my top three are probably the ones hammering me with such trivial details, but that is much too trivial to place a vote on, I always want to make my detractors the baddies but I know that usually isn't the case.
