I find the wording "if innocent" interesting, wouldn't it make more sense to say "if scum" on the grounds that is what the town is searching for? But you choose to say if he turns up innocent, I can't seem to find the words to exactly articulate why this is noteworthy, but that just doesn't sit right with me

I hadn't caught the "even if innocent" before but that is an excellent point. Poor wording or a bit of a slip up C-Note? I bet I can guess what you'll say.

I thought this post was great. Here Rick a) says the 3rd vote thing was just a joke... then later on he brings it up again. Offering to be the 3rd vote. It seems like he's just trying to get the conversation started without taking any credit for it. And b) he retracts his vote on O3T, apparently being satisfied by the fruits his mighty plan had wrought. Tell me Rick, what do you feel you learned through that exchange?

Interestingly enough I had to copy and paste because simply quoting the post wouldn't allow me to quote the part you answered in what you quoted from C-note. Why were you worried about O3T at that point, they were not the only low posting player. Tree_hugger was also very nonexistant at that point, why did you not vote for them to get them to post more? I guess I'm just curious of 2 things in this quote...

Funny how your "coin" kept you off a mafia member. Good place/reason to hide IMO. Don't want to vote a team member who is up for the lynch so you play the "I can't decide and flipped a coin" and it conviently doesn't land on your teammate.

Wow! Interesting turn of events. I really don't see what people see in Nem. I think HH is scum based on the PM post. Clearly Chup did not post a PM from Mad. The other thing that is puzzling to me is HH makes a case for Chup and then votes for Nem?? And doesn't make a case for their vote on Nem. Since I need to vote still and don't see a better choice...I vote to lynch HH

As you can see from my post above I was wondering if HH was trying to distance themself from Chup. HH never actually voted for Chup but had a "stronger" case against them.

I looked through HHs posts and didn't really see much else in the way of suspects except chup, but while the thing that got HH lynched was calling chup out he never put a vote on chup. possible distancing?

I need to look through IQ and BGs posts since i think they were the 2 most defending of HH to see how I feel about my next vote.

It's nice to see I'm not the only one who thought this could be the case. It does also seem likely that HI IQ was trying to save HH with their vote by moving off of Chup. I'm just trying to figure out if HI IQ's original vote on Chup may have also been distancing. I'd like to hear thoughts on this from others.

2. Because we were talking about non-posters in general, but old3toes in particular in the thread at the time. I'm an implusive gal, it seemed like the thing to do. Also, I can obviously only have one vote at a time...

You can play those odds all day long, but people always vote for their teammates, always. Yeah the singleton votes didn't help the town a whole lot, and guess what my vote was one of them. I felt strongly about my candidate and I still do although maybe not as much as others after that night 1 result. I didn't see the case on either of the forerunners last night, and I sure wasn't going to put my vote out there on a flight of fancy.

I've seen people align themselves and distance themselves as early as Day 1, again, playing the hypotheticals is a waste of time in Mafia, people do great things sometimes, they also make dumb moves such as defending a teammate on day 1.

Am I the only one with a singleton vote? No, I don't believe so. I even went back and explained my third vote comment on star-crossed before nightfall and you never responded to it. Funny how you call out my posts so much, yet when I give a response it is ignored.

While I can see where some are saying Hi IQ looks like he was discussing PMs, I'd like to remind everyone PMs are NEVER to be used as evidence in a game of Mafia. It's a cheap way to play, not sure if this is explicitly in Mad's rules but it's common sense. Which is not that common around here sometimes...

Once again, stop discussing PMs, you are as likely to out a PR as a Mafia. Ever think of that?

I'm sorry but I am not going to pull my own posts, if you want to analyze me I invite you to do so. Heck, do it two or three times like C-Note to be thorough.

Ok I'm done defending myself, time to find scum. Right now my top three are probably the ones hammering me with such trivial details, but that is much too trivial to place a vote on, I always want to make my detractors the baddies but I know that usually isn't the case.
