Tib, I can understand the spanish on the first day of posting as a joke, but how about some english content for those of us who don't speak spanish. Seems like a good way to hide right out in the open to me.

First, why is this aimed just at Tiburon321? There were many posting in spanish. Second, this was day one banter, most of the conversation was about pizza and salads when you posted this. Third, how in the world would this be a good way to hide right out in the open?

Who ever said anything about secret codes? You seem to be a little jumpy about folks actually cutting though the bs and looking for clues.

All I was saying is that every post from most players is open to scrutiny. Speaking almost solely in Spanish reduces the amount of actual content those of us who don't speak spanish have to work with. While the player has been posting, there is NO USABLE CONTENT in those posts (to me, and anyone else who doesn't speak the language). Thus, hiding right out in the open.

Really, what USABLE CONTENT was posted in english. Pizza with no cheese? Salad not being a meal. So with this type of reasoning, anyone posting chatter is "hiding right out in the open"? Is it safe to assume that when claim someone is hiding they must be scum?

You were the one who said something about hiding out in the open. My first reaction was that you were right, we should be done with the Spanish so that everyone can read everything without having to use an online translator if they don't know the language. Hence my first post to you.

After thinking about it though, I could not figure out what you meant by hiding out in the open. Therefore, I questioned you on it. So far, I haven't seen much usable content, in either the English or the Spanish posts. What sticks out so far is Scoop calling Wing Nut a guy (which I can now see his reasoning if he was referring to Mgamer) and you, with your "hiding in the open" comment.

Yep, and I'll do it with small words. It's to early in the game to know what means something and what doesn't. IMO, what's great about day1 is that nobody takes it really seriously. The things we learn on day1 tend to mean more in conjunction with other things that may or may not happen down the road. It may never come to anything, but it's worth hanging on to just in case.

I honestly just found this funny. Irony is kind of my thing.

Hey...just want to apologize for starting the Spanish talk...didn't really think much of it, the name is Spanish and it had been mentioned. I had lunch at a mexican restaurant, nothing was really going on (as it was day one) and I though I'd ask if they liked torta's...just because it is "spanish". Had no intentions of continuing to post in Spanish just having fun for a moment on day 1.

OMG, can anyone remember the game a while back when everyone was posting in Morris code!!!

Now I need to read through everything again, mainly what stands out to me the most is the posts pointing out trivial things (like wood), and those throwing names out there.

Right now if I had to vote, it would be a toss up between chupacabra, old3toes, and goldleader. Each only have a lone post. I know it's only day 1, but even banter can be useful in finding scum.

Wasn't HH voting for Nem? How is that protecting them? HH was on Nem early too, before HH started getting a lot of votes. Not like they switched close to night to distance from them. Please explain this to me.

This game is all about finger pointing. Yes, I stated it could be a ploy to hide out in the open. I also said that that in and of itself was not a huge scum tell. Quote all the posts you like.

PS... just for my own scheduling purposes... will you be pulling these damning posts today, or will you be taking some more time off after putting in those last two? I'd hate to see you strain yourself.

I am not sure where you also said that "that" (meaning either posting in spanish or hiding out in the open) was not a huge scum tell. I am sure it is there somewhere hidden in your USABLE CONTENT. I hope my recent posts have not caused you any scheduling issues.
