A lot less posting than I expected. I see chongo is hard at something. I do agree that the single votes and the no votes are of much interest. People who don't get into it are either not really playing or are hiding.

I'm going to take a much closer look at Gunslinger. I feel they've been sliding along under the radar and pulling their vote off of Hi IQ and putting it as a singleton vote has really caught my attention.

The question now is which of these has not been of much help.

Gold has had some kind of problem so I will skip them.

Mael has been around a bit but decided he did not have enough to vote with or some such. We need some thoughts from you.

Gun has me worried posted just enough to be here but I do see what was of much use or new ideas.

Doom is dead, sorry to see a townie go.

3 Toes has been active but really sure where they stand on all of this.

I have addressed three of the votes on HI IQ but didn't realize that it would take this long. Not to mention they make some lengthy posts the way I have been doing it.

So I went and read through all of Rickets posts and I found that most of D1 was spent posting BS. OK...it was D1. But look at this...

Now Rick votes for UHOH for low posting. If you add up all of Rick's posts for D1 that were not BS posts...Rick would have been right in there with the rest of the low posters.

Wow, jokes don't translate well in Mafia, noted. I made the comment as a joke to the comments made towards my first comment. I read several games that I didn't play in where people talked over and over about this mystical third vote. I should have known it would be over scrutinized, especially on Day 1.

This is in response to the heat Rick was taking for the 3rd vote comment. He brushes it off as a joke. A lot of BS and jokes from Rick and not much else.

Actually, heh, Nem didn't have three while I was typing that. That is to say the third vote for Nem fell before my page refreshed, two minutes between that vote and my comment.

I just pulled this one because it was one of the few posts from Rick that wasn't just BS.

You can play those odds all day long, but people always vote for their teammates, always. Yeah the singleton votes didn't help the town a whole lot, and guess what my vote was one of them. I felt strongly about my candidate and I still do although maybe not as much as others after that night 1 result. I didn't see the case on either of the forerunners last night, and I sure wasn't going to put my vote out there on a flight of fancy.

I've seen people align themselves and distance themselves as early as Day 1, again, playing the hypotheticals is a waste of time in Mafia, people do great things sometimes, they also make dumb moves such as defending a teammate on day 1.

Am I the only one with a singleton vote? No, I don't believe so. I even went back and explained my third vote comment on star-crossed before nightfall and you never responded to it. Funny how you call out my posts so much, yet when I give a response it is ignored.

What ball? what responsiblity? You and Hi-IQ are grasping at straws so small you need a microscope, it's kind of sad really. We got a scumbag night 1, be happy, maybe ask for a few more uppers in your meds as well.

While I can see where some are saying Hi IQ looks like he was discussing PMs, I'd like to remind everyone PMs are NEVER to be used as evidence in a game of Mafia. It's a cheap way to play, not sure if this is explicitly in Mad's rules but it's common sense. Which is not that common around here sometimes...

Once again, stop discussing PMs, you are as likely to out a PR as a Mafia. Ever think of that?

I'm sorry but I am not going to pull my own posts, if you want to analyze me I invite you to do so. Heck, do it two or three times like C-Note to be thorough.

Ok I'm done defending myself, time to find scum. Right now my top three are probably the ones hammering me with such trivial details, but that is much too trivial to place a vote on, I always want to make my detractors the baddies but I know that usually isn't the case.

Rick makes a few points here and then calls out people for looking into them. They invite people to analyze them and then call out C-Note for doing it too much.

Thus, why I voted old3toes day 1. Low posts do not equal scum, but no posts make it dang hard to tell one way or another.

I have answered just about every one of these questions already, I don't like to repeat myself. I was SOOOOO tempted to respond inside the quote to chap you, but that is me and Hi IQ's little game. And as for the "some of us have lives...", we all do. Yet we signed up to play this game, this game based on posts in a forum. If you don't have time to post in the forum, you probably shouldn't play the game. No one expects you here 24 hours a day, that's silly. As an example I have to go on a business trip this weekend so my online time will be drastically less than the first few days. I will however try my darndest to get on in the evenings, because that is what I volunteered to do.

Oh all the banter today, this post sticks out the most to me. Scoop had been promising to read for quite a while and then this is the result? Leaning the lead vote getter innocent, but they have notes that made them think they were evil? Does not compute. This is a very early, frustration born vote, but for now

I vote to lynch Scoop.

Then a quick vote today for Scoop and admits it's more out of frustration than an actual real reason. Doesn't like the contradiction from Scoop but not much of a case IMO. Looks like a quick easy vote to me.

I looked through posts from Rick and UHOH (as I said I would) and of the 2 I see Rick being more scummy. I have shown my thoughts on why above. I also think Rick's voting record speaks for itself. Yes UHOH voted for Doom (known innocent) but they also seem to have gotten hung up on focusing mostly on Doom both days. UHOH seems to have started to look elsewhere which makes me feel a bit better about them.

Of the 4 I listed previously here's how I would rate them for my scum list with scummiest near the top:

Gold

Really wasn't a lot else to go on.

There was a situation in a recent game that almost got the game called... It can't happen again...

Why did you over-react to that so much? I mean, Narwhal and Doomsday (THE PEOPLE IT WAS DIRECTED TOWARDS) didn't even look twice, but you've jumped on that. Makes it seem like you're trying to turn nothing into something, kinda scummy if you ask me. If I am here tomorrow (as in not lynched), I'm going to be watching you, Mr(s).

Ok, yes it does. Why do we need to find out who is who? We should be trying to find out who is scum. The whole point of the alternate ID's (also the reason we had to wait a while for the game to start) is that people aren't predisposed to someone because of who they are. Some of the veterans dislike some of the noobs and this game is an oppurtunity for everyone to be free of that. So just keep it that way.

Maybe it is me but here is another reference by a player about a train on themself. I only saw a train on HH when he screwed up. You and scoop were running close on votes the whole time.
