Mafia 9: The Bloody Coup

Doesn't really matter if I am or not. Just want to see where everyone stands. I asked back in post #272 about more activity, noting that I myself had not proposed any names, and thought I would try to be more active today.

We have about 9 hours to get the CC's to agree on the most reasonable choice, whatever the reason. I have only played in one other game, and the mafia took me out the first night for whatever reason.

I think getting lists and exchanging info is the best way to play this type of game. Being controversial causes folks to slip up...just ask Hooked....

Right being controversial. I'm doing that.

With so few folks posting today and the complications of a split rebel team, tonight ought to be interesting. It may be hard to see a trend to a reasonable choice for us and some of the heated arguements could just be the rebels convincing one another to improve their chances, including convincing the other to prevent a loss on their team.

Maybe we should shorten the lists so not as many names are out there...?

How does that help? There were 10 rebels at this point, everyones list could have ten names in it and be OK. The argument thing is what I said much earlier.

Pretty cozy, eh? As is those voting for joan...

Interesting, at the time (if I recall correctly) there was a tie for those voting for joander and those voting for mee-mee and those voting for Deputy. What makes those voting for Joander special... unless someone knows that they are a CC... or at least not on their team.

come on citizens, these single votes do not help us at all

Yep, and I moved mine and gave a reason why.

I sure hope we citizens talk a lot tomorrow, earlier, instead of wasting away the day with sporatictic statements and ill logic...

This is the part that bothers me. rb was missing most of Friday and it seems (after a brief search) that many posts weren't exactly amazing deductions that immediately cripple the enemy.

OK, I'm somewhat exaggerating here. Anyway, what do you want rb, an instant train on mee-mee? Looks like you got that. So much for lots of talk. Insta-voting promotes people to follow and not argue with you. So you don't have much discussion today because everyone will either follow you on your chosen target or choose someone else... but the people that choose someone else, won't all choose the same target, so you get your way.

So do you want me to follow you or try to figure out if you're a CC or a rebel?

I really would like an explination from the non-voters.

We can't have many more nights like that, at least plantling was killed.

So far two names have moved more towards rebels:

Charlie_Stubbs - for not voting
Ogre - for saying I am playing different

There are others, I want to see who all followed plantlings attempt to misquote me and point fingers at me.

I need to do some research.

JL says to Ogre "Oh my God, you suck for voting for me"

I am just trying to follow any inconsistencies I see in postings, DD. I am detailed oriented and relentless, by nature. Folks either own up or run. I don't but Deputy's excuse of being drunk. I don't buy the excuses of the non voters, who were visible on line, but didn't vote, or who were in chat but to busy to vote....guess I'm anal and a realist....
i could not have been visible online, because i was not online. i was getting windows re-installed due to a power interruption that killed it. i am sorry i didnt vote sooner, i thought i had more time and wanted to wait to see what developed.

But every one that was responding, and many were not, were giving 2-4 names. Narrowing it down to one, might have simplified things, Ogre.

There hasn't been much activity for a Saturday.

What makes those voting for joan special, is he was a CC. Something at least 5 folks knew....

I "missed" most of Friday, since I was at work. Ask most anyone that spends frequent hours on here at AC. I'm a post w h * * e. I am religously on from 4:30 AM EST to 6 AM EST, m-f, and most weekdays, 5:30 PM - 9 PM. On weekends, 5 AM till 9 PM. It is the nature of this beast.

I don't want people to follow me. I want them to post and help all of us draw the correct conclusions. I voted for mee-mee, and only time will truely tell, or future posts by her.

My only reason for noting your vote was you mentioned I was one to look at, after the nightfall, when all I did was ask for folks to post and complain about the non-voters.

I never stated I saw you on line.

Charlie- how about posting your suspicions and reasons rather than only excuses? Afterall, we voted tonight. Computer problems happen, but I still haven't seen a list from you or a case made by you...

For the record, I have voted for Mee-Mee but I will be discussing others and changing this vote is not out of the question. But I see a pretty strong case for mee-mee. Point A) is the two contradictory posts on 50/50 percentages, and B) is the extremely late and unneeded vote for joander that mee-mee tried to make look as if others were forcing them to make.

rb, I never voted for you, I too said you were one to watch. I nominated you for the list that you are generating.

As for a current list. I'm still concerned by charlie. His PC problems do not correct his different posting pattern pre-PC meltdown.

Mad is still somewhat concerning as is JohnLarson... again, both are posting abnormally (as far as I can tell). If everyone else says that I'm wrong, then I'll leave it be.

Note that I haven't voted yet and won't until much later.
