The tank fish took a long time to decide this night, the Bala Shark has gotten very hungry from all the anticipation. As the owner gives the fish their food, they sneakily push a fish over to the Shark, hoping they will live longer if that one dies. As the Bala Shark comes in to eat, it sees the poor loner fish, a little guppy, swimming all on it's own. Without mercy or hesitation, the shark gobbles up it's guppy friend and continues on it's endless swimming in circles...

The lights are off, the tank is dark, and there are still some fish about. As the Bala Shark slumbers, the Convict and the Cory go out on the prowl... by a sorry chance of fate, they meet in the dark, to Cory to spy on another, the convict having changed it's mind at the last moment on who to rip apart. The Cory never even realizes what happened, and the fish find it dead the next day...

The tank is in shock, and none move to find shelter or to get revenge. The Cichlids continue their nightly rounds, and then they too go to sleep for the night...
