Chill stands on his roof and surveys the sleepy town of ACville. He takes a swig from his trusty flask as he looks at the deserted streets. Looks like another uneventful day.

Heading out into the street he kicks an old can with his well worn boot. It clangs down the road but there's no one there to hear it. He heads over to the diner for some cherry pie for breakfast.

A scrawny kid with a bowtie says: "Hi my name is FF and I'll be your server."

**** servers that what wrong with this town he thinks.

 

[Chill]

The server brings Chill's coffee and pie. Chill uses his flask to top up the coffee as the server walks away. He longs for the good old days before servers when waitress brought you your pie and half the pleasure was watching them walk back to the counter.

I always have plenty of popcorn on hand. Help yourself! opcorn:

Is is microwave or is "the old time" popcorn (it my girls call it)?

Lady G had a bag of cheese curds, and I did see DD carrying around a big jar of pickled pig's feet. One of those really big jars that you see in taverns sometimes. Who ever orders those? "Uh yeah, I'll have a Falstaff on tap, and two of the pig's feet, please. Oh, and I see that you have hard boiled eggs, too. So many choices."

Mmmmm, love me some cheese curds....fresh of course so they squeak when you bite em!!

I could go for a cheeseburger....

If theres bacon, fried onions and mushrooms on it...can I have one too?

okay now I'm getting hungry time to fire up the grill

Chill douses the coal with BBQ fluid and strikes a match; he laughs as the flames singe his facial hair

he cracks open a beer to savour as the coals heat up. Two beers later
