Anybody got any suggestions on a Halloween costumes for a group of three people, preferably movie based, that can be pulled together fairly simply?

In a normal setup yes this is the way to do it. But this is a hybrid of a 50/50 and team building game of sorts. No one knows who is there team mate, everyone that voted FF could be scum.


This game is pretty much going to be a crapshoot until teams start being built, then and only then will we be able to somewhat treat it as a normal setup.

But a lucky shot or lynch is all it takes. I think your scenario only comes into it much later in the game. If we get the real townies calling out what they see, we might have a chance to catch a slip and end it early. Alternatively, if people are not willing to share information and participate a little, we can leave it up to chance as you suggest.

The problem is we don't really know when we will get to that point in the game. We can't really be too sure of "if" and "when" teams are forming. With the game laid out as it is, how could we possibly trust than any calling out is not merely mafia trying to call out BS things and trying to blow them up?

I know I have been guilty of not posting much too, but I find it very odd that you would make this claim about anyone. What exactly have you done that has helped the town but cause a few pages of conversation over your vote switch, leaving them to try and figure out what you were up too and you coming back with conflicting responses?

Why do the votes concern me...well quite honestly, this was his first game he obviously was not getting the hang of it on day one, with all the banter and silliness that goes on (not to many ppl would). For the vets to go after a brand new player, who hadn't had a chance to grasp the game looks as if those that were going after him were praying on a easy target. He would of UDed anyway apparently, but to not even give him a chance to get a grasp on things, IMO is cause for concern. I know some feel no one should play unless they have read threw 20 other games and should come in as if they know everything about the game, but reality is that doesn't happen to often, most just learn as they go.

I have to say, it appeared as if you forgot who you voted for..even if it was because you were in a hurry, there have been games where that would not of counted.

There are only 2 in communication. There's no way to swing an entire vote purposely with that little direct influence.

How are you so sure that there are in fact people communicating? For all we know the mayor / don investigated someone on the opposite side and aren't communicating with a friendly yet.

I was talking worst case scenario... not absolute values.

i understand, but that list has been established through my posts and i've made a comment to each one when they were "added to the list". there wasn't anything to hide. how about seeing your list, hmmm?

I dunno if you post was going for a round about role of King Skimmer but I clearly gave my list of people I had a gut feeling are scum.

So... in order to give the town something to go off on the next night fall I would like everyone to list out their top 3 scum suspects.

Kashta (zaffy may be swapped for kash, i dunno kinda have mixed feelings on both)

For the most part this is just gut feeling after reading. There hasn't been much to go on more than gut since no one, until possibly today, has been communicating. Hopefully having people list out suspects will give us some semi-hard info to go off when the next vote happens.

So either you are taking skimming to a whole new level or you're blatantly lying and throwing around accusations.

That's all fine and dandy G but I don't see how that points to the votes on LBF being a concern. Looking at D1 votes themselves are pretty meaningless...no one had any clue who anyone was when they were placed. You can say I'm a big meany head for not wanting to look at LBF's posts any longer but that's the vote I put down. What did you think of Kash doing a similar thing when voting for FF?

It looks like you voted Jb for a less than solid reason as well, unless you actually thought his vote on Chill was scummy? I'm not sure anyone has any reason to call out each other just for where votes were placed. Most were random, joke, or just plain weak votes. On D1 in this format it is pretty much impossible for any person to have an agenda.

i think i want to see zaffy's thoughts and hear from others who've not posted much.

i'd like to here more from ice. some of these "hints" and pretending not to know how the "scuffle" went down...

i'm curious about jp. dunno why he'd side with ice.

I sided with Ice? Maybe you need to reread because so far I've butted heads with Ice far more than sided with him. We both questioned one post of yours and I already said I misunderstood what you were referring to...

Thing is you could have kept it as being a random vote. Instead when I questioned it you said it was because of something he said earlier in the game and THEN admitted that you came up with that reasoning after initially voting him randomly to not UD. Not to mention this reason came after you had already switched votes for whatever reason. Not only does it seem like you were afraid to have your name attached to FF but that you panicked and thought you needed to grab something on FF to make your vote seem plausible.
