Mafia 97: Patrick Mafia, Crazy for Swayze the game

Happy turkey day, all.

I start my work week in a couple hours, so I need to vote just to make sure I have one in.

I vote to lynch the Wiz.

It just feels right. Subject to change if I can get back before nightfall.

I am honored that you feel I am worthy of your vote, and if elected I promise to root out scum that would do anything to keep my administration from getting rich.

This post makes me really nervous...

What about Mad's vote post makes you nervous?

I don't have as much experience playing with him as you do, so I may be missing it, I didn't see anything in his post to raise any flags.

I have the rare opportunity that I will be able to check in on the game from time to time today so I don't have to rush my vote this morning. I will be around and get my vote in before Night fall.

Yep

I've come to think of Mad as a deliberate and calculated player. This can work well for the benefit of the town if he's a townie, but can be devastating if he's mafia. That post just seems off to me. He's essentially calling out a newb for not defending himself well. Given AAF's past with being lynched early I can see him not wanting to put out RL excuses, then thinking back to other games and coming back to be honest in an attempt to try not to get lynched. Then taking into account the fact that Mad said he didn't necessarily disbelieve AAF but he still went ahead and voted for him. Something seems off. Add that to the earlier post where Mad said that the game was unpredictable then went ahead in the next breath to predict how the mafia would act... IDK; it's concerning.

Infact, I retract my vote on Wiz and vote to lynch Madcrawdad.

Vote count

1 DD - LR(40)
0 Wiz - JB(93)
1 AAF - MC(97)
1 MC - JB(114)

No votes from everyone else.

Nightfall tonight at 6pm pst.

I wasn't around for that game. I do, however, find this post concerning.

While the last line in the post may have been just an illustration of what JP was saying, it also could have been a signal to his teammates. JP is slick enough to pull it off. When I first read it I didn't think much of it. I did have a little nagging feeling in the back of my mind about it though. It seems more so this morning than yesterday.

I think you might want to take that post in context...it was the morning after my 21st birthday. I thought I was being funny LOL.

In that case, Happy Birthday.
