Noods and DD have really been flying under the radar. I've not seen one pro-town post from Noods so far this game. Noods, what are your thoughts on everyone?

No. Nothing said you had to switch to Ice. But nothing told you to park a potentially wasted vote on FF either and just leave it there. What I'm saying is I don't see in the thread that you tried to look any further than you did. So maybe by then you were locked in and couldn't do anything else about that.

It was just something that to me sounds more like an excuse from you than what I believe is typical from you as a townie.

where else should I have voted? At that point in the game I suspected FF and Ice. I think D2 is a little late in the game for a random joke vote don't you?

While it's a starting point, I don't think I'd put all my eggs in that basket. I find it quite odd that Dun followed AAF both nights with his vote. Also, keep in mind that early in the game, with random voting, is generally the best time for scum to vote for scum for distancing purposes, if they can do so without drawing heat onto a teammate.

FF... i just think it was too obvious he was going to UD. he has a history of disappearing when he's grilled and he put himself in a bad place with not one, but 2 of the most prominent intellectually and unforgiving morally (basically they both see black and white pretty well) individuals on this site. he was getting grilled by ice in the game and admitted to being pm'd by john.

despite the actions/discussion that didn't belong in the game by both parties, it was extremely obvious that FF was not coming back to vote in time.

hence... no i absolutely am not giving even remotely the opportunity to let folks who voted FF when he was going to UD have a free (or bargain if you will). actually, this is way worse than giving FF a free pass for slipping up since we're talking competent, able minded adults who are weathered veterans of the game. i think it's horrible and shameful that someone would even consider that.

NO FREE PASSES unless you're can't get right. (we've all seen the movie life with martin lawrence and eddy murphy, right?) even then, they're limited.

WTHeck AAF is doing, i have no clue. i have no idea why he'd defend me except the close proximity of our votes. then again, just like FF, i rarely have any clue what AAF is doing besides sinking his own ship (and in turn helping me sink my own... which of course at this stage i need no help). from pryor games, it should be easy to tell that this is about as far as i've gone...

strikes me as terribly simpleton-ish (yes i made that up, sue me) of him, even for speaking to AAF. although, i'm not sure that means anything except he had a couple beers in him after a game and was trying to be simple and straight forward.

i'm torn...

i'm pointing this out because it represents a major fundamental flaw in how the game has been played lately...

My reasoning is that scum would try to get Ice out by the lynch if at all possible if he was innocent. He is a strong player and scum would jump at the chance. FF not so much.

the problem here is "when in doubt, vote FF... it's safe and easy since he invariably makes a case for himself." meaning... we should all be looking for bigger fish to fry at all times, IMO. giving the scum team their choice of good players as often as we do by focusing on FF is ridiculous at best.

There were 6 votes on Ice and FF, how many scum are in this game? Is it likely that at least one was on either of them?

pappy made it very clear before the game started that he'd like 16 players so the scum team can represent 25% of the posting bodies. since we actually started with 16 players and have only lost innocents, i have no doubt there are 4 scummates hiding amongst us.

This post really stuck out to me. Dawg, it really seems to me that you are goading Kash to do something that you then go on to explain "scum would do". That seems a bit odd to me.

Not "need" per se. But the low posting makes it much easier for them to do it.

So let's just say for the sake of argument that Ice is innocent and the current interpretation of the paper is correct. LR, AAF and Dun voted for Ice last night. Don't you think if Ice is innocent that scum would vote for him?

Kash...why the singleton vote on DD? I get that you think she is scum but if you know your vote won't matter why not move it to where it might make a difference? Similar question to JB. Ice explained why he was gone at nightfall.

So, for the record, which inncent person would you have preferred I vote for? Ice or FF? Assuming the premise you gave (Ice is innocent), you would be questioning why I moved to take out either a) a townie PR or b) a player who is a huge asset to the town as a known innocent. I wasn't feeling it with either of them, so I went with my gut instinct. I'd rather place a lone vote than one that helps lynch someone I'm not ready to vote for.

it's your turn to push for me. i get that... this game isn't exactly all-telling and you have to poke somewhere. however, i certainly don't like the tone of this part of your answer to dawg. seems the whole "would you rather me vote an innocent ice over an innocent FF" excuse is a tone throughout this thread at this point and truth be told, the only folks who can legitimately use that excuse would be folks who knew who was on which team. nobody knows whos alignment is where except scum and those investigating and communicating. i hope to see less "would you rather me" copouts and more actual answers like the rest of your post seemingly is.

needless to say, you're not off my radar, either... ice has that position all to himself.

as much as i play with computers. i do moderate another site, you know. i also remotely maintain a few dozen pc's for friends and family that are out of state. if i can't put a single reply together, there's a serious issue beyond what's considered cognitive.

i dont have much of a scum list yet but i guess here it is.
dirtydawg- i dont like how he decided that just bc someone voted an innocent that theyre scum. there could be someone on ice, but just bc we're almost sure that he's innocent doesnt mean that you knew that before nightfall. i also dont like the FF vote right after nightfall.
ice- thought you were scum but after tonight, your most likely innocent.
dun- seems pretty pro town to me.

i see your point on dawg (how you could say that, should i say), but what the heck are you thinking with the rest of this post? i have admitted and apologized for my absence in this game. unfortunately, that may continue. however, my lack of posting is definitely the opposite of pro town and i think it's pretty clear and accepted that ice is DEFINITELY innocent at this point.

Not saying that this is the scum team, but looking at the voting record we have four players that voted for now known innocents D1 and D2

AAF- voted LG and ICE

Zaff- voted Rich and FF

Dun- voted LG and Ice

and Noods- voted Rich and FF.

I just thought I would put this out there for consideration.

more than that, big guy, but i think i may be able to see why you'd want it narrowed down. or are you narrowing with your introduction by saying these players voted innocent on both nights?

I did a 180 on you Kash because I was trying to get under your skin and you didn't bite. I gave you many reasons to vote for me and it didn't happen. I was going hard to see if it would tell me anything. I think if you were scum you would have bit. Maybe I'm wrong but that was my first impression from our posts.

I compared Bally vs. Kashta because you brought it up. You pointed out that Bally was also a low poster and were wondering why I didn't also point her out. I answered that question.

As far as Zaffy goes I have no allegiance to him. Zaffy is still close to the top of my list even though you have dropped. I would actually place him second on my list right now. I would have no problem placing a vote on him tonight. Is there a reason you want me off of Dun and on Zaffy?

What a crap load of, well... crap. Other than a quick joke and this post addressing his 180 reversal on me, Dawg had very little to add to an active thread today. I do not believe his explanation for retracting his vote on me. I also don't believe he seriously holds Zaffy as a real suspect "close to the top" of his list.

I'm going to go ahead and post my list so far:

Most scummy
Noods - Noods, where are you? Hasn't helped the town at all, laying low?
Dawg - don't like how hard he went at Kash, then suddenly backed down and wanted to be BFFs, I don't buy his explanation
DD - play feels scummy to me, posts haven't been pro-town from what I've seen
Dun - scummy reason for voting LG, gameplay has been erratic
AAF - not helping the town, not sure if he's even trying to
Zaffy - not getting a scummy read, seems to be working for the town
Kash - agree with a lot of what she has said, working hard
Wiz - seems to be pro-town and working hard
JB - haven't gotten a scum read from him yet, would like to see more, so far seems pro-town
Ice - headline implies he is innocent
Least scummy

been very busy today taking care of my dog (just had surgery), so I am catching up now.... I am on page 8 atm...

I should also amend my take on Wizard. I went back to reread his posts... not because I questioned his scumminess or to find evidence.... mainly because there was something that seemed genuine about his responses to me today. I didn't actually expect that from him. Wizard remained adamant that I wasn't looking at him fairly. So I figured I'd double-check.

Okay Wizard. You and I don't seem to agree about much of anything this round. I think you're playing a scummy game so I don't expect we are on the same side anyway. Repeating all that again isn't going to help matters any way.

Zaffy voted innocents both nights. Good for him. I guess that makes him innocent then... or it makes you innocent... or something. Whatever you say.

On that being a "place to start"... it was a combination of that (which was too easy/obvious for me) plus the way you and others tore into AAF earlier is what gave me a bad feeling about you and them.

Time will tell whether I'm right or wrong on that.

That red part being the basis of my suspicions.... what I found as I actually reread Wizard's posts (as he asked me to do countless times) was that he wasn't being as unreasonable in his interaction with AAF as I remembered it.

I also noticed that Wizard questioned Zaffy a bit more thoroughly than I remembered. More so, than I imagine he would have just for distancing purposes.

This drops Wizard down a tad from the "must be scum" along with Dawg/Zaffy zone down to the "leaning scum/but undecided" area of my list.

A lot has been said today and I guess I find the interactions between Wiz and Kash and Kash and Dawg a bit much. Much meaning I need to look more into them but it is 1:30 here and I have an early start tomorrow.

Oh and how odd is it that Labby considers anyone as being unhelpful for the town without having herself in that category for the day *shrugs*...

I will look more into things tomorrow during the day sometime. I have a vet appointment to get my boys bandages redressed at noon so it will be sometime after that. He is wearing a tie-dyed shirt to keep him from licking his stitches so I am eager to see the vets reaction to it.... not sure if she will find it funny or inconvenient, but it keeps him from licking and keeps the area clean... we shall see.
