Mafia Game 2

*A bedraggled looking, medium blonde staggers from the local schoolhouse, lugging a batch of final exams. Her hair is pulled back with pens stuck through it as she looks around nervously before she slips into the liquor store. With her wine stashed neatly in her bookbag, she hustles home, hoping nobody has seen her.

A student sees her out his window, and snipes to his mother, "Ms. Jenson's on the bottle again!"

She hears this, and shouts back, "If you had to deal with you all day, you would be, too, punk!"

Upon arriving home, she tucks into the bottle, staring at this picture of ehr dead father on the front page of the paper.

She decides to wait for more evidence before lynching the a**** who took him from her life....
 
sorry to be lagging on the posts today. something very interesting happened to me today. while attempting to post on this thread, my internet connection conked out.....first time this has happened in nearly a year-and-a-half......looks like the mafia is trying to control more than just the trains in ACville.

A couple of things I've found interesting so far....

J2R early on says he wants to talk more and lynch less, but immediately jumps on the bandwagon to lynch bkw1982....

bkw1982 openly taunts the mafia by refusing to bow to mafia demands regarding his trains....a risky move, unless he has no real reason to fear the mafia. what could that reason be? not sure, but bkw1982 seems intent on getting the doctor and detective to reveal themselves....is this really a strategic move, or does he have a more sinister intention at heart?

fungi jumps to lynch J2R pretty quickly, with not much evidence for backup....is he trying to steer the unsuspecting townsfolk to lynch one of their own?

don't know yet, but will wait for more evidence before voting to lynch as there are still approx. 36 hours remaining in the day...

Yes i did try to get the doctor to reveal him/herself, hopefully to draw out a mafia looking for some easy trust, but ORge kinda blew that up when he said the Dr can't protect himself, which makes no sense to me. IT was a move i thought would pay off and it didn't.

And i never said the detective should reveal him/her self, i stated that i hope they have more of an impact in the game.

But i guess you must misunderstood me in what i was saying, right? you didn't mean anything by it im sure.


After hearing enough crazy ranting by Madcrawdad Sir Topham Hatt heads to the train station to finish up the days work. He seen talking to himself...

I represent my plan:

My plan #2 When everyone is ready to vote we each cast one vote so everyone has an equal one vote, then let randomness decide who is voted off. If we all agree to this plan the chance of getting voted off is equal, if anyone goes against it will be mob. The doctor of course is the wild card who they select will have better odds of not being selected. So what do you guys think?

of course the mob gets to off one too. Hey Orge what happens first, mob vote or random tie breaker

Hes trying to use his plans to make the mafia see all sorts of holes in our defences!! Show the doctor, show the investigator, la la la...

If he aint a mafia, Oh well, im a babbling idiot if thats the case...

Now, will he be fish flakes or pellets whenever hes lynched, mafia or not?? And where is his will going?? is he hiding it?! TREASURE HUNT TIME!!

It took me about half an hour to decipher that, and even then I had to read it out aloud... people thought I was going crazy... sounds like Jim from The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

the lynching (random tie breaker) takes place at the end of the day....the mafia does their work at night. therefore, I would assume the tiebreaker first and then the latenight drive-by....

BKW1982, your plan of everyone getting one vote and then letting a random tiebreaker decide is very unsound ol' man. We're dealing with the mafia here, they're very unscrupulous characters. By everyone receiving one vote for lynching, all it would take is one mafia to change their vote and swing the lynching in their favor. They want to kill 'innocents', and would never put their head on the chopping block and just hope for the best....You seem a little too eager in suggesting that 'innocents' offer up their heads. I'm not sayin'....I'm just sayin'.

You might have been a big man on the island of Sodor, but here in ACville you're talking a little too much craziness for your own good (and the townsfolk's)....You should probably stop taking advice from that talking train of yours.

As i pointed out already that i only said the doctor should reveal themself, and that was based on the assumption that the doctor could protect themself from mob vote. I never asked for the detective to to reveal him/her self.

But it is nice that i was misqouted by both Dwarf puffer and Madcrawdad, and then a vote from Daayda also, So i have 2 votes.....obviously im a target.

Since i started ive tried to unite and come up with a plan to:
A. nulify the mobs vote
B. expose the mob.
C. Overwhelm the mob with our numbers.

If you look at my plans they were all sound and coulda worked.

Looks like ill be gone soon, and before night fall ill tell you who i vote for mob, then surely ill be gone after that.

As you pointed out with my plan that all it takes is one mob member to change their vote. So whoever changes their vote will expose themself, so i doubt they will change their vote. An innocent is going to die anyway we might as well make it even playing field to take out a mob as well.

Why are you opposing this plan if it will either Expose mob or has the possiblity of lynching a mob. It's a risky plan that could payoff, but i think it's making you sweat just a bit.

Yeah I oppose your plan, and it's definitely making me sweat...Why? BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO DIE, PERIOD. I'm not some old bachelor tycoon with not a care in the world....I've got kids that need to be fed, and even if there's only a 1 in 16 chance that I'll get 'randomly' lynched, I'd rather not take it. If I'm going to die, I'd prefer it be for a good reason.

As far as a switched vote exposing the mob, that's not necessarily true...all it would take is a decent explanation by the vote-switcher and the waters would muddy again. What if two of the mafia switched votes and offed another mafia? They'd give a good explanation and the townsfolk would think they were heroes for the rest of the game.....the townies would follow them blindly for the rest of the game.

I wouldn't sweat it yet, ol' boy....I'm not so certain that you actually are mafia...just a little vocal is all. There's alot of folks here who haven't said much of anything, yet, and it's making me more than just a little suspicious. For the record, I will give you the fact that I did unintentionally misquote when I said you wanted to expose the detective...
