Mafia Game 3

Our Strategies:

Here are some things that have helped me in the past.

1) Everyone needs to post a list of who their top three mafia picks are and WHY!

This does a couple of things for us. It let's us look at everyone's logic and see who had noticed something the rest of us may have missed.

2) Establish chains

Say that Player A tends to follow player Bs lead. This helps us determine who is on a team or not.

These things don't always work, but they sure as heck help.


3) The first night is pretty much random, but that doesn't mean to lynch no one. Lynching no one gets us no information and we need every bit we can get.

4) The detective doesn't reveal until he has all the mafir or is in danger of being lynched. Be real careful of what you (The dectective say). That's how the mafia got J_double_R last gang.

He wouldn't need body guards if the meeting was on purpose...as in a close association with them and no fear of reprisal..?

I don't have 3 choices just yet but since it is a crap shoot to begin with

I vote to lynch "13"

No real reason,just don't like the number its bad luck. If you look around ACville there is no address with the number 13 on any street and we all know buildings have no 13th floor.
 
Let's see, if I were to guess with only the list and not knowing anyone, I would say FL looks a bit suspicious, randomly, I don't like the looks of "13", and hmmm.... one more.... I'll say Ice.
 
Hmm.... seeing as Ice has picked one of my top three, I may need to rethink..... however "13" is looking more and more suspicious. I take Ice back, he holds a good point. There ARE no number 13's on any street and no 13th floor.... hmmmm... very very peculiar.

Then again, if Ogre is giving misleading "advice" with known Mafia experience, it would very obviously be..

Oh, by the way, the detective hasn't even posted yet, from what I can see.

Maybe busy in private talks with the mayor...?
 
I don't have any suspicions - like Ogre said, the first night is pretty random, until people start posting lynching votes.

meh if you want to vote for me vote for me I'm innocent.

In fact, in these games I find a real mafia 'tell' is either 1) jumping on board a lynch wagon where the first voter has no real reason explained for voting or 2) trying to start someone else off on a lynching but not making the first (or perhaps any vote) yourself...

What are the other roles, if any?

When does the first day end?

For this first day, anything we do is just random...
