Mafia Game #4 The Play

dont you find it rather odd that today has been a lil too quite? By now there would be at least 5 pages to go through. Mafia is def up to something trying to come up w/ a game plan. While all the townies are trying to re read all the post to come up with a solid suspect to lynch. This feels more like a poker game than a rpg.

I think the mafia is waiting and depending on us townies to put more into it than we already have, trying to get us to over analyze things to run our own selves in circles. This way they can pick us off one by one while being able to pick apart our posts in their investigations to discover who the mayor, the doctor, and the vig are. We're late in the game, guys. Time to be really careful about our posting.

Ok so the odds are that we have maybe what, 2-3 words to pull out of, oh I can't guess, how many? I guess I lost them inbetween all the other protestations of programming taking over or some such other thing. As fascinating as it would be to see if I can reveal the magic, it definitely won't be in this book of a thread tonight, not while the Advil PM's kicking in. *lol*

Judge, I wish I could read your mind! Or at least can you use your psychic powers and telekinetically send me some info?

Its a scary place to be sometimes, Its worse than having to read this thread 150 times In one hour, I can't even read my mind anymore, it goes to fast, lmao! ....:eek3:

Well, since we're all just looking for time to pass before we pick Contestant A, B or C... I'll just say Judgemax, if a career in crime is too low pay (and to be honest, why is EVERY case the boyfriend/husband/father etc., it's like sometimes law enforcement barely looks elsewhere, and it seems your brilliant mind will be wasted), you should consider going to write for CSI and Hollywood. Honestly, I can't watch the shows with the Hubby, because he figures them out after 5 minutes, so obviously, the story plots could use a shakedown! *lol*

wait a min the vig. is on the townies side?? I though it was a wild card (so to speak) but the bad kind.. where it takes townies out.

FOR NJ:

Actually, crime scene techs get paid pretty well, depending on the area you live in, lol, and I agree with your husband, way to easy to solve, unfortunately, in the cases of those shows, even though, some are based on a true story, they usually stretch truth beyond fiction. sometimes it can take months, even years to get DNA back from labs, and a crime scene can not be gone over in a half hour like they depict it, its a lot more work...for instance, you see them say oh, the bullets trajectory is here, but in reality, you need to work that, and compare it with blood spatters, and the actual bullet holes..Most human eyes, don't find simple strands of hair, And, theres really never one person who just wanders on the scene and finds the incriminating evidence, And, when they do find evidence, its not usually just picked up, it needs to be photographed, and cataloged..

And, most cases are always the significant other, because most crimes are actually crimes of passion, a very small percentage are actually premeditated...

It all depends. The vig basically has a choice, join us or die! No jk, he/she can play for themselves. That's why we have to convince him/her to help us. BTW, will you?

In mafia, the vigilante is typically a townie who has one hit...the wildcard portion comes into play because unlike the mafia (who knows their opposition), the vigilante can't be certain that the person they whack will actually be mafia. Keep in mind that if the townies don't win the game, the vigilante doesn't win the game......The mafia is gunning for the vigilante, which should be all the motivation the vigilante needs to want to hit back at the mafia. I don't think we really need to worry about where the vigilante's loyalty lies.
