the only thing i knew about nola was he no longer wanted to play, that doesnt strike me as mafia
 
KOTD is seeming very suspicious to me.......but who wants to listen to a Mafia suspect, like me? I'm just the ma........ don't want to reveal to much more or I will get whacked.

Okay, if you are going to claim to be the "ma........" then you really must want the mafia to kill you.

I think at this point we have no choice but to lynch you.

Please tell us of your investigation last night. It would really help the town.

I do not think you will be spared lynching and if you are the "ma........" the mafia will hit you tonight. They can investigate three of us and kill one.

The best thing for you to do now is to tell us about your investigation.

The mafia probably predicted the townies' reaction to lynch Cory Lover, as Ice was hot on his trail (for the only reason that Cory Lover claimed to be an innocent). It was only Day 1, and any case against anyone was pretty weak. Whacking anyone for getting 'too close' seems a little unlikely at this point in time.

I'm not telling folks not to vote for Cory Lover, just keep looking carefully elsewhere at the same time. Don't let let the fact that the detective got whacked cloud your judgement.

I could be WAY off base, but I find this post sort of alarming. Someone earlier mentioned that "guiding us subtly" was a mafia tactic.

I have also re-read 90% of the entire game and find Max's posts quite worrisome (217 - 219 & 360). It seems that you guys are trying to protect CL which makes me suspect him more and worry about you. I still vote to lynch Cory Lover.

Now now you really wouln't use this as a pitiful excuse, would you? Do you care to know everything about my personal life? You'll all notice the majority of my posting is during the day/during weekdays. I've never ever set a precedant for posting much of anything on the weekends. In fact, this weekend in an annual convention, all three days, all day long. I'd be there right now, except I had a minor medical emergency this morning that had me bedridden for some time. But you know, come Monday, I'll stand fully participating again with the Townies. Is that enough for you?

And I think if you looked at the timing, Judgemax, you'd see that it wasn't you that had me backing off, I'd already done so. You wouldn't honestly believe I could be intimidated by a suggestion like that? You oughta know by down, I don't back down. No, I simply stopped the line of discussion because it ended. And I hate stealing the show. (As enjoyable as it was, it was time, it went far and was fun, but that was all.)
 
OK, hold on, take a deep breath. I'll admit I haven't studied Cory Lover because I was too busy jumping with both feet on Nola.

Something to keep in mind is that there are now 15 innocents and 6 mafia. I'm thinking that none of the mafia have voted yet. They're in the same mode that I am right now... wait and see. But with most of the votes (7 I think) already on Cory Lover, they don't have to do anything if he's innocent.

If he is mafia then they have two choices... 1) through him to us as a bone 2) finger someone else and start a new bandwagon.

I'm going to be watching very carefully who votes where. I will examine everything more closely this evening... hopefully I will have some time.

Question, rbishop? Can the mayor only determine who the detective is or can he determine mafia as well? I'm not sure I was clear on that part.

If CL really is the ma... then we're in serious trouble.

I do have to admit that CL's reason for suspicion of NJ is pretty weak. CL, why are you pegging people because they have lives?! Trying to draw attention away from yourself again?
 
The mayor can investigate anyone and be told their identity.
 
Oh guys, let's do something else. In addition to everyone's votes for Cory,

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post your top three mafia suspsects AND THE REASONING behind it. Hard evidence (Quotes) are better than 'feelings'. I know most of you don't have the time, but please try to do this.

Last game, Ice was trying to get us to the point of having several players almost on the chopping block (here that would be like 5 or 6 votes each). That way those players are forced to defend themselves and we get a much clearer picture of who cast the clinch votes and vote changes mean a great deal more for us.

We MUST get organized and not be led around by the nose.
 
I don't know, I'll have to give it some thought - Nolapete was so clearly not acting any type of mafia, it's not even funny. So I'll be choosing my top 3 from among the list of voters. But there was a few of them, it'll take some time to narrow the names down.
