The townsfolk stood around in a state of confusion for some time. Then people started pointing fingers. KingOfTheDeep watched with some amusement until the fingers started pointing at him. Protesting his innocence, he ran. The mob followed.
After finishing their grisly mission of turning LOTD into high protein fish flakes, the townsfolk broke into his house. They could no evidence of mafia influence. KOTD was innocent.
Everyone went home to weep.
