Mafia Games....

Just read the dead chat. I personally think it would be ok to reveal roles to the dead. I trust people not to cheat. Mod's decision of course, but wanted to put my thoughts out there.

I like the dead chat idea, lets those killed off still be able to have fun. I'll have a dead chat for my next game, though it will be like LG's and there will be no dead chat powers or input into the active game.

Not really a fan of the version where you shoot until you miss....not much fun for the other players at all...has to be a solution for that....

In fact....while liking active games...some of the posting is actually out of hand to a degree.....kind of like a romper room setting that really is obnoxious to a certain extent...way beyondgeneal day one banter.

And some of the multi quotes are ridiculous. It's okay to a certain extent when making a case...but to post every single game post of one person and then make notes gets really annoying.

As does trying to do the same with several folks all in one post.

I went back and forth on that quite a bit really. On the one hand everyone is dead and can't post in the game...no biggie, or threat to the game to reveal things. On the other hand because of past games, IF someone in the dead chat did decide to go beyond what they should and pm a person from their team revealing roles about the other team...THAT would be a problem. I would like to think we can trust others enough to not do that, but past games prove there is a good chance it could happen. Which is the only reason I did that. It is easy to get really wrapped up in the game and want your team to win, sometimes that gets in the way of "better judgment"

Agree 100% on the mult-quotes OMG, there is a point in almost all of the really long ones I just kinda go "Blah, blah, blah" and move on, missing things that may be important.

You can make a case without making a post that takes 20min to read, or just break it up a bit in more then one post

What if..after a successful shoot, you have to choose a list of who you think is innocent and a random off that list gets the gun?

You're not an active participant in any game so what do you care?

I can't see a way to improve the Gunslinger game. It is what it is. From what I remember there was a lot of good posting. I don't remember anyone saying it wasn't fun at the time.

I actually skim the multiquotes and only read the notes made after each quote. If I deem it important I might read the part quoted.

Well, maybe if it wasn't romper room time or the games actually followed the rules vice sign up threads or some of us didn't have lives....

Activity is not always anything useful.....sorry.......didn't know I needed your approval to make a comment about the games.....

And your statement is totally false about participation, in general.
