Ok, man after all this I hope they work!!

Good job Lady and Cat! A 330....been a while since they labeled them that...I still have a few of those, but the new baskets are much easier.

Awww, thanks RB...I just did what Cat told me to do :perv:

So ummm, Cat ready for that "testing" thing yet

yea here is what i would recommend.
fill the filter approx 3/4 full of water. then take 2 buckets fill 1 with water and insert you intake and outflow lines into it. set your 330 into the other empty bucket. plug in and let the unit run the water. keep an eye on the level of the water in the canister. check outflow to see if its steady and suficent. make sure there are no kinks in the hose lines and no leaks from them. check around the lid seal for air sucking in youll hear it and may see bubbles forming around the inside of the lid. if there are none of these evident then id say your good to go.

OK, I'll give it a go....then post the results!! :perv:

Well, the suckie side is not sucking the water up? I took the plastic part off the hose and ran water through it incase there was a clog...but the water ran right through that part. So, does it just take a while for it to start sucking up the water...know on my HOBs it take a bit to "prime" them up

yes it takes a few minutes to prime. But did you here any air sucking in at all or did the impeller sound like it was haveing a rough time?
