Delawhere?
Anyone know how well the magnetic aquarium cleaners work? Nifty idea, but I want to make sure it works, and won't scratch my tank.

they work quite well.. MAG_FLOAT is the brand, i believe. make sure you get the kind that coincides with your tank type, as the ones made for glass tanks will scratch acrylic tanks, and the ones made for acrylic tanks wont work well in glass.. theyre marked pretty well on the box.

i swear by them, and cant believe i ever DIDNT use one.

I just noticed the acrlyic model cost's more. Hummmm...:)

They work great and the only time I have ever gotten scratches is when cleaning near the substrate and sand has gotten in between the magnet and glass. My fault and not the products fault.

I have the Mag-float and it works well but if you have a bow-front all-glass tank, it won't be able to clean well at the bends. Every month or so I use a new cloth and go in by hand and clean the spots that look to need hand-cleaning.

I still go by the old method - foly fill from the nearest fabris store. I just grab a half handful, and go to town inside the tank. y-all are lazy bishes.

I find it great as a filter media, but how do you get it to not come apart when its wet and get all over the tank? I wouldnt be able to scrub my tank because it seems to fall apart unless it's packed in a filter.
