'Good tools aren't cheap and cheap tools aren't good'.

In the interest of redundancy, I have two heaters and each has sufficient wattage to maintain the tank at room temperature. I'm less concerned about a heater sticking on as one simply failing to work. With the two heaters dialed in, they typically share the load and if the room temperature was to drop (winter) they can both kick in to maintain the temperature.

I find I don't need any heaters to maintain my tanks at room temperature.

that's very strange that it does have the standard two prong like a 110 I wonder how many people have purchased them and though they didn't work right because they used them in a 110 outlet.
