so i got a bunch of plants mail order. they came when it was 23 degrees F, there was no heat pack in the box. nothing seemed frozen, but the temp was in the 30's in the box.
the crypts melted, but are recovering i think
the stargrass turned mostly black
the golden nesaea melted away
the java fern turning black and falling apart
the amazon sword went straight to see though
do you think cold would do that? the seller said if they were green, they'd be okay, but...frozen broccoli is green and it won't grow again, so not sure how them being green is relevant, if cold damaged.
