Ok, this is really strange. I use a ton of fresh hatched brine shrimp on a daily basis. I live in a house with a septic system and figured tossing all that discard salt water down the sink may not be a good idea. So typically I just toss it in a 5 gal bucket. When I trash a hatchery I just pour the contents into the bucket and rinse the jar in the sink. Well last night I noticed something swimming around in the nasty salt water bucket. Upon further investigation, invovled a net, I discovered hundreds of adult brine shrimp. I skimmed a bunch out, rinsed them and feed them to my Belonasox fry. Today, I looked in the bucket and it appears there are still hundreds in there. I feed some to the B-SOX and some to my Goodieds. Both groups of fish just massicred them.

I've been doing fish a long time and this is something I have never seen nor did I expect. Anyone else have this happen????????

Hey, if they manage to not become dinner they probably survive to adulthood.Who knows, you may even be able to breed them lol. (I know nothing about brine shrimp except what they look like, just sayin). Still, pretty cool that they survived (sorta).
