the links that are photobucket.com/albums have pics that I can see as a slideshow, but the links that say photobucket.com/slideshow you can't see.

Oh well, what I can see is just incredible. Congrats!!! This is a terrific thread, and put me down for a DVD.

Also, I still think you should have a monsterfishrescue.com/fishcam link with a live feed of video from your tank. Need to have a couple or three webcam angles.

I'm not techno so I don't know if it can be done easily... but I sure would like to watch your monsters swim around.

Wow fish guy, this is fantastic! I built a tank out of plywood 10 yrs ago and it's still up and running. THis started out as an experiment to built something bigger but I never got that far. Yours looks great!

Thank you thank you thank you! Now all I need to do is get the filter pads in a more permanant position and rinsed thouroghly... the water's not clearing up as nicely as I would like it too... Or should I say as quickly...

Here’s slide show of some pictures my wife took with her camera:

And this is the filter for the tank. The water first passes through 4 square feet of prefilter pad which is cushion for boat seats. This is the same material that was being used in the 800 and for filtering the pond when it was up. Then is passes through three three pound bags of charcoal. I’m hoping it helps to clear the tank up. Then finally it passes through the bio media then into the sump tank where the pump and the heating coil is located.

At first I just had the three 2” pipes running water into the filter but then I added an undergravel filter to spread the water around so it passes through more of the prefilter. So far it’s working great!
