Hey everyone. Peacock Gudgeons are awesome. My favorite.
I had a breeding pair, but since I moved to my new house with well water, I lost my female. Something is not right in the water...
I have 8 of their fry that survived the move. They are currently living/growing in a fry tank. I eventually hope to have a Peacock Gudgeon breeding program going in my basement, but that fully depends on if these fry grow and decide to spawn.
The fry grow EXTREMELY slowly. Exteremely. It takes them a good 4 months to get to a decent size where they start to show their colors, and probably around 8-12 months to become full-grown.
Good luck finding them! They are a joy, and really worth the money. I spent $45 shipped on my pair when I bought them about 7 months ago.
