Male Krib death

I found my favorite fish, Jerky, the fish in my sig, dead this morning while doing tank maintenance. He seemed fine last night. Eating, swimming around and social. The only thing I can think of is my female, Herky, got aggressive last night. She's been hiding in a cave for about a week coming out to eat and chase Jerky away. I haven't seen any eggs and I've been watching close. Water is good.... 0, 0, 10 and everyone else is fine.

had the same thing last week - got home and a really nice peacock had been shredded...it happens, unfortunately. they'll never do it in front of you, but once your back is turned...murderers !
