No one around here ever carries one and I really dont ordering from online. Any one got one in ther LR and dont want it? I would like a fairly small one.

I got two of the three I have by asking the LFS to order them for me. After the crazy looks they give you and the question about why in the heck you'd want them they usually find them on thier wholesale list. I think they were a bit pricey however at $49.95 each.
Not to turn traffic away from AC but try Reef Central. They have thier own "Mantis Shrimp" message forum and I've seen a lot on there being given away.

I knew it was pricey. Muddy (little purple guy) came with a little eclipse 3 with live rock and coral for 50 bucks. It's in a 10 gallon now however. Too bad the 2 peacocks I couldn't find anywhere though so I had to order them.

most LFS around here really dont order any fish unless you are a "special" (spend well over a few hundred dollars) customer. Of course they are a bit over priced. angler for $159.
As Mogurnda mentioned TBS has them for $9.95 in thier Online Catalog. Not sure of the type or coloration though.
