About a week ago I added 6 Margarita snails to my reef tank. They are the only inhabitance besides a few coral and around 45 lbs of live rock. Today while doing a water change I noticed about 20 tiny white and red snails, they where about half the size of a pin head, round (not cone shaped) and has a spiral pattern, almost like one of those spinning barbers sign. Did my snails breed? Or where they introduced by something I added? The only recent thing I added was a small pulsing xenia that could not possibly hold that many snails. In the pic below it is the tiny redish thing on top of my margarita snail. The picture sucks, I need a new camera :wall:
