hey guys and gals :D I bring you a question, as usual...

Basicaslly, I bought a Moss/Marimo ball instead of what I meant to go and get, which was ghost shrimp :P Anyways, I will get pics up at some point, but I'm wondering, is there any way of making a carpet like thing on the bottom? I am aware there is the mesh method but I don't know how I cut it up haha. So how do I cut it up to make it as big and flat as possible? Once I have figured that out, I could stick some pebbles on it to weigh it down :) I have high lighting in the tank and I normally keep it on for about 8-10 hours a day, is this ok? I know they are slow growing, but I just think a moss carpet would look pretty and my cories and (soon) shrimp would enjoy it

thanks and any pics are apreciated :D Ill post pics later of it!

please excuse the dirtiness of it, but here ya go:

hw big is that tank? i dont think id even do pygmy corys in their

10g ;D and the cories are happy, been in there since april-ish

ih and java moss would do better. marimo balls are technically algae.

couldn't find any java moss, but they are pretty cool tbh, seen as they are spherical and you can tie them on to stuff.

anyway, it had a small rip in it so I almost ripped it apart, then put on the front rock you can see in the pic. Might go get a few more and do what Kevin did.

thats a really nice tank Kevin btw!
