Marine lighting

I have a 30 gallon tank that I am setting up for fish and soft coral only. Is a 36" current satellite with one 96 watt bulb bright enough?

You are on the low end, but you can keep some of the hardier soft corals. Some leathers may be OK, star polyps should be fine. Many species of mushrooms will do very well under that much light.
