Marine snow???

I went out today and bought some more different foods for my fishys, I bought some ocean formula 2 flake, chopped mussels and chopped cockles and some marine snow. My question is though how much snow should I feed? It says on the bottle a minimum of 1 capful but is that enough?
I'm still trying to find an asian food market locally that I can buy fish from to make my own frozen food. I read somewhere that spirulina is good too but the only stuff I could find said it was for cichlids - is this ok? - didn't buy any just incase.

what corals do you have/ the only thing you listed there that can even eat marine snow is the feather duster. you could feed it every few days, or even every week with a pipette. just target just upcurrect of the feather duster. far enough up where it will get a majority of the food but not far up enough that it will retract from it.

I thought marine snow was for all invertibrates, the cleaner shrimp seemed to like it! I have mushroom corals, leather coral and tree coral. Also have a porcelain crab now too.

the procelain crab ill also eat it, but he can get by on other foods.
many corals and inverts will perk up when it is in the water, but it is jsut the smell of it. only some types can actualy injest it.

If you want to make your own fish food, www.brineshrimpdirect.com is reputed to be a good place to get some essentials. They also have a formula on their website. However, to do it right is pretty expensive -- not really much cheaper than buying Rod's Food.
