anyone use any software to help manage reef systems and chart water chemistry. It would be easy enough to create a simple spreedsheet but if a good program is available that is not to expensive or freeware that would be great.

i just had my system delivered today and the sg is a little low. I have started adding salt at one cup every three hours and checking sg. it would be nice to have a base line to strart with (ie X (weight/volume) of salt per gallon to raise approx Y sg)

All aquarium software is a fail because it is not on the iPhone (or other mobile device).

Is your spreadsheet awesome? Graphs & value conversions? Please share it.

Wow talk about digging up an old thread. This is from 2004 lol.

There are lots of software packages out there.

If you use an Aquacontroller then you may be interested in Aquanotes (to buy) or Aquanotes lite (free) and download at neptunesystems.com

If you have a Mac, then Maquarium might be for you

Reefcon is the better of the free software items. There are other threads on AC on this topic if you do a search.

Wow, this is an old thread, not much talk about spreadsheet on this forum I guess.

Every once in awhile I install the Maquarium demo to try out but I never end up using it because I have no computer next to my aquarium.

I made a spreadsheet with editgrid.com that seems to work on the iPhone pretty well. I just need to figure out how to make a pretty graph now. Maybe some unit conversions later on.
