Woohooo!!!! I finally have a Clown that knows what he is supposed to do. A couple days ago, I pulled the Ocellaris pair and put them in the refugium and introduced a Misbarred Maroon Clown. I took him about 5 minutes to spot the Nem but once he did, he has not left it. I was moving some rocks that were close by his home and he did come over to let me know to stay away.

The gbta has been eating silversides every other day and the first time I fed the Clown mysis, he sucked one in his mouth and then turned and and spit it into the Nem's mouth. He did this 5 times. Very cool to watch!

I haven't gotten video at feeding time yet but I will try next time I feed.

Anyways, video of the Clown falling in love below.

Great video clip, looks very happy indeed..However, what are you doing with the pair of clowns that you have put in the refugium? as you do realise they cant really be left there..

Thanks Niko.

I'm taking the Clowns to my LFS this morning so they can be found a new home.

My new LFS just opened last week and is owned by 2 very devoted hobbyists. They said they would glady take them and keep them together

Awsome mate, a great choice in re-homing them...

I just got back from taking the clowns in to the LFS. They even game me a $17 store credit.

I used that credit plus plus another $30 to get a refractometer. He tested my salinity and it was at 1.028:irked: damned swingarm crap Hydrometers!

Total water volume is about 110-115 gallons so I drained about 3 gallons and am topping off with rodi for a few days till I can get it down to 1.024.
