So I recently purchased a rena smartheater to attach to my rena xp3.
It stated that it would connect to any rena smart filter or filstar series filter.
So I ordered it and found it did not fit my rena filstar xp3, so lets say I was not pleased at all. I continued to jerry rig it to work and I was fine to use it for now.
I was fuming so I sent an email from the rena site about my issue, the site which is really the most useless company site I have ever come across let me send an email to them about my situation.
I stated first of all that I loved my rena xp3 and that I bought the smartheater as I figured it would be a great product like my canister. I pointed out that it stated it would fit any filters like I said before and that it did not fit mine. I also pointed out that on a british web site I found a connector that is apparently needed for it to work. It was only available at UK retailers, so I said why does it not come with the heater or why does it not state this on the box.
I felt I was mislead and that I would like a response as to why this is.
Anyways today I get home from work and a box from mars fish care co. was there with the part I needed. Never got a response from them about it after 2 weeks but they did send me the part so cheers to them I guess!!
