Anyone familiar with this plant? I have a 37 tall with with a 65 watt pc light. If this would be a good ground cover, how much would I need for say 1/4 of the bottom? I don't use co2 but do dose daily with excel.

I have not been able to get my hands on Marselia Minuta but I do have Marselia Quadrafolia in my 20gal. I'm told they are about equal in terms of light and fert demands. Marselia Quadrafolia grows somewhat slowly in medium light without the presence of CO2. It's not the easiest plant to care for however. Tangles of runners often pull up its own roots resulting in even slower growth. Under medium light the runners are long and growth is not very dense. I'm hoping it will do better under high light with CO2 to produce shorter runners. That's why despite the hassel in my 20gal I'm going to keep some around when I plant my 40gal with pressurized CO2 and 4+WPG.

Floridadriftwood.com has it right now. I was told it was fairly easy but very slow growing and that yes, higher light would keep it shorter and that it is more dense and shorter than what you have.
I was just wondering if anyone has had actual experience with it.
