These are dumb questions, but what is manzanita? Where does it come from?

Manzanita is a type of plant. It is usually red in color while it is still on the plant and is known for its beautiful color and twisting branches. It is found in places like northern Arizona and places like that. A google search will give you much more info on the actual plant.

I love having manzanita growing in the wild around here, just pick up the dying branches and take them back to use in your aquariums.
