Mating mollies

Hi guys

I recently introduced a Female Balloon molly into my tank believing that my Male Dalmatian would stop bothering the Female Dalmatian (all the time) - but this guy doesnt seem to show any interest in the new female.
Is this because they are of different types ? Or, will he eventually mate with the new female ?

It could be for many reasons. Give it time, he may notice her eventually. So far as I know, all of the molly types are compatible. I had a black male that was only ever interested in the black female. I had two gold lyretail females for him as well. Nothing doing. I added a dalmatian female and the male ignored her for weeks until just recently when he started nosing her vent. So, patience.
