Max Tang stocking frustration

WOW friggin awesome vader i love those setups and man that black with THR is popping aye.. good job man i bow down to you..

All the Tang specimen's arrived today from Dave's and were alive + top quality!

So far, I can highly recommend based on this transaction :headbang2:I will definitely do business with them again.

3 Altolamp calvus Kipili "Zebra"
2 Altolamp comp Lufubu "Dark Red"
2 Altolamp comp Mwela "Orange"
2 synodontis lucipinnis (petricola) ~3 inches each

All drip acclimated and now in the Rift tank in the breeder containers (seperated from the bichir until they are all at full strength). I'll try to get some photos when the lights come back on.

Unbelievable. The bichir is more interested in swiping at the largest specimens in the tank (the 3+ inch petricolas) and is totally ignoring the small (new) Altos.

If I can somehow pull this stock off, it will be the greatest balancing act in bichir history. I hate that I even had to try this, but it was either 'go for it' or surrender the entire Rift setup forever, blow the biotope, and/or give up specimens (either the existing altos or the bichir).

If by the fish god's graces this actually works, it will say more about the bichir's ability to learn that he need not/can not eat other tankmates and the resiliency of these species as survivors.

Sweet man i just hope you don't wake up to a fat bellied Bichir and minus fishes..

cool deal buddy..
