Hi there my girlfriend has had a group of mbuna in a 20 gallon tank for the last couple of months, we are at last able to move them up to a decent sized tank. With them will be going the chinese algae eater that has been in the tank longer than they have. However my girlfriend would like to have somethign else in the tank too. I have a suspicion that nothing else could reall live peacefully in there with them but if anyone knows of anything i would like to know. THe new tank will be 55 gallons

I believe it is mostly male as nearly all have a large number of egg spots.

The fish i can identify are a single auratus (F i think) apart from that i need to look it up which i cant right now. Pics are impossible im afraid. Ill look into IDing them as soon as i can.

i just had a look at that site and think its going to be very hard for me to ID them...ill have another try when im at home and can see the fish to compare them.

Also you said that the egg spots where not a good way to tell male from female, i thought they were like the only way TO tell the diffrence, if you dont mind please fill me in on what they really mean and a better way to sex them??
