Looks great, Mike. Im building one next year for sure...:woot:

Man, I'm jealous. Wish I could do that. But 1) I'm in an apartment, thus nowhere to build one except the living room floor (which I'd be okay with, but the wife would kill me, and I think it defeats the purpose of giving them all the bugs and such to eat) and 2) I live in WI so I doubt it stays warm enough, long enough.

Hmmm wish I could do something like this but no space and not enough money. I do have the perfect weather for it though. Witha added heater I could probably do fish all year round.

Thanks D Piggy if you need a hand offer a huge steak and some beer and it will be a road trip.. LOL

dafishman the kool thing about this setup is that it is 100% outdoor or indoor this thing is easy to move around being made of cinder blocks and a liner just lifting all the heavy blocks one at a time is consuming, but my plans will be when we move to Indiana here next year or so i am getting a house with a full basement and it will be in there i want some shovelnose cats..

GEV you def have the weather on your side the good thing here is we have a half of the year for this pond to function it will probably be too cold by end of October..

Yup yup. I could leave a glass of water outside in winter without any worry about it ever freezing. We do get cold nights at times but rarely does it hit freezing and when it does its just enough to free our grass making it sound like your walking on glass from it crunching under your feet. Just if I had the space for it.
