So the strip was successful here is a photo of the fry the yellows are Saulosi and the clear ones are Tropheops Lundu's..

After stripping the moms i placed them in a bag to acclimate to their new home a 20gal long by themselves..

Yeah i was nervous as heck it was my first time stripping a fish didnt know if i was being to rough or what but she is fine right now.. thanks buddy..

Great video! The female Tropheops Lundu's look kind of purple, more so in the center and to the left, do they look purplish in person? I know they are typically gray but lighting can certainly affect that! :)

Nice broods there, congrats! Wish I could have some luck catching mine so I could strip a few females, considering everyone of my female labs is currently holding!

Thanks yeah i see that in the video as well but looking at them in real time i would say no possibly more of a small sheen is what you would see under the lighting i have which is compact flor.

Thanks buddy.. I have so many devices hehehe i am a photography junkie / techie.. I have a Nikon D40 SDL two lens - up close and personal i use my 55mm x 18mm.. Long distance i use 200mm x 55mm.. My video camera is a JVC HHD everio hybrid 32 mega pixel and i have a Kodak easy share 6.1 mega pixal 36mm x 108mm cool thing is with the Kodak i can use it as a digi camera or take very lengthy videos with sound..
