They should be kept in a species only tank. I catch these guys a lot and they attack anything I put in the water.. I think a tank about 75 or bigger should be fine... But from what I know, they are very dirty and cold water fish, so no heater is required (the rivers I catch them from never goes above 72F). I caught one the other day that was close to a pound and about 10-12" long and a good 6" tall. So they get big.
Mudangel's looks like a green ear. They still get huge tho. Very beautiful fish! They don't put up a fun fight quite like a bluegill, but the hook is 10 times easier to take out they have fatter fillets, too
Her sunny is a green sunfish, very pretty.. But they get bigger if interbred with a bluegill. Greens get about 8-10" max..Bluegills get bigger XD I know a lot about these fish it ain't funny.
Bluegills fight like a trout does.. greens.. blah.. you can just reel them in like a litle minnow.
